Love
So I got this pillow to replace one I've had for a long time, at least 3 years and I think longer. The pillow I had was very, very firm and I loved it. We just upgraded our mattress to a very firm mattress and I think the extremely firm on both things was just difficult, so I started looking for another pillow. I knew I needed something that was still really supportive though, because any time we travel and I have to sleep on a normal cotton or feather pillow, my neck is wrecked the next morning. So anyways, I found this one and after I read a few reviews I decided to purchase. It's been a few nights and I love it - no neck pain! I got the 5" and the only thing I would do differently is get the 4". But I don't want to send it back so I'm good with my purchase either way. I would recommend this pillow if you need something with some give but still a bit firm for proper neck support.

Six-inch thick pillow perfect for my big fat head
This pillow is everything it promises to be. When they say it's six inches thick, they ain't lying. This thing is tall. I'm six-foot, 215 pounds with fairly broad shoulders and a big head. And even still, I might've gone one inch too high. However, it feels great with my surgically repaired neck (no more cricks waking up) and will give a bit over time. After a month, I've gotten used to the height. It's almost comically firm. It's not even trying to change its cube-like shape, even after a month under my heavy noggin. It comes squished all to heck in a small container, but fear not. Give it several hours and you'll have your rectangle. The washable case looks and feels great, and didn't shrink after a wash/dry cycle. A queen pillowcase is perfect, but you may want to put a couple of safety pins on it, because it will slide off somewhat. If you're accustomed to receiving bedding with the first-class packaging and presentation of Coop products, for example, look elsewhere. Here, you get a container with a pillow in it. But I'm all for that. It's a great value, and I vote for keeping down costs and waste.Excellent pillow, excellent price.

Interesting but not for me
In short: fluffed up fine, no odor, firm, product dimensions correct.I had cervical spine fusion surgery in July 2023 and have been having a hard time finding a pillow that works for me without causing a migraine, that's level with my head and neck alignment and also supportive but not too firm. I can only sleep on my right side and back with little support. I've been trying multiple pillows to achieve this, including this square pillow. I purchased the 5" after we measured my shoulder to head and the gap, and used a 4" and the 5" object for comparison here at home prior to ordering. It's ONLY for side sleeping. It's a queen sized so too long for just switching from one side to another, (it should be a short length cube type thing, no need for a whole pillow length), and the material is slippery so the pillow case does not stay in place all night. It is very firm, to the point your ear falls asleep (didn't know that was such a thing). No odor, fluffed right up out of the package within an hour, I put a waterproof protective cover on it, slept on it the first night. I did fine for about a week but found myself pushing it out of the way if I needed to roll onto my back (which forced me awake enough to get up and relocate the pillow). Overall I believe this could work for some people, but unfortunately not for me. The return and refund process has been easy.

could be better
came fast in an cheap box, the foam is way too soft ..... any weight on the pillow and it becomes flatter than the earth ..... works great paired with a second pillow.

I am in shock!
After deciding it was time for a new pillow and having tried at least 20 different ones, I decided to try this one fully expecting it to be another disaster. Almost all the others were variations on the traditional pillow. This one being very out of the ordinary made me curious enough to give it a try. When I opened it and let it expand, I was very disappointed to find how firm it was. Little did I know, that would turn out to be one if its best features. The firmness lets me side sleep with my CPAP mask on without it forcing the mask off location because the pillow holds my head and mask high enough to allow the mask to stay firmly to my face. And the height of the pillow is perfect to hold my head up when side sleeping. After only the very first night, I was already sold on this pillow. It is great for any side sleeper, but it is especially great for one who uses a CPAP.

Doesn't last - Updated Twice
Update 11/17/24: While the replacement lasted longer than the original (8 months), once again it has lost its firmness and is completely unusable. Do not buy!Update: Seller reached out and sent a replacement pillow. Not sure if I got a defective first pillow, or if this is the typical lifespan of this one. For good customer service, I'll up my rating from 1 star to 3 stars until I get a few months into the replacement.Just about 4 months in, and here's my hot take. At first the pillow was pleasantly firm - the height (I got the 6" model) was a touch too high, but I stuck with it and quickly fell in love. Like others have noted, my one complaint at the time was that the pillow would slide out of my pillowcase overnight, but to have the support at the right height - I was willing to deal with the slippery pillow. But between months 3-4, the pillow has gone downhill quickly. I don't think the height has changed, but the firmness is gone - my head sinks down far too low.For reference, I'm 6', 172lbs and my head is average sized, but I have broad shoulders - hence the need for a higher pillow. This pillow simply doesn't last. Now I have another dud to add to my never ending pillow pile, and the search goes on for something else.At its price point, it should either last a lot longer, or have a better warranty (30 days? Come on!)
