I have used the Amish Deep Penetrating Pain Relief Ointment on numerous occassions. I have purchased 4 or 5 jars of the original formula. The original formula was a white cream ointment which left no greasy residue on the skin and was completely absorbed.The new formula has the same pain relief qualities as the original. However, it does have a little greasy feeling left on the skin. I use the ointment on my knees, applying it before I go to bed in the evening. When I awaken the next morning, there is still a slight greasy feel left on the skin. For that reason, I prefer the original formula and thus the 4 star rating. It is still a very good product!

I got this cream to use for bruises and minor muscle pain. I do a lot of martial arts and often get bruises and other small injuries. This helped a lot!

This product works as well as other brands costing more. It does smell a lot like Vicks Vapor Rub, opens up the nostrils.
