A single 400ml bottle of Archoil's AR6400-D MAX Pro has completely transformed my BMW 520d, resolving a host of frustrating issues and saving me from what I feared would be a costly visit to a specialist. For any owner of BMW's otherwise brilliant diesel engines, this high-strength fuel system cleaner is an absolute must-try. Great product - real results
2010 Volvo D5 engine with 185k on the clock, missed the last 2 services. Upon buying the car it felt like it had no boost. Put a full can of Archoil in with half a tank of BP Ultimate diesel (yes you can do this, just read the instructions). After half a tank of running this through with a 100 mile trip and I could feel the turbo kicking in. Once the tank was empty I repeated the process, another half tank with a full can of Archoil and another 100+ miles of varied driving and the car pulls great in every gear now. Very impressed.

Does actually work and improve engine feel and fuel economy
Must admit I was sceptical that any fuel additive did anything other than waste money. However, my old diesel engine was starting to idle heavily so I decided to give an additive a try. Research on the web suggested Archoil was one of the better ones. This size of bottle is sufficient for one tank of fuel. Run your tank low and take the Archoil bottle with you to the station. Break the foil seal on the bottle and tip the bottle into the fuel tank. The long thin neck on the bottle means it goes down the fuel inlet with no splashing of the contents. Then fill up with Diesel, this will give the correct concentration of additive for a typical family sized car. I used to get around 600 miles per tank, used plus remaining miles always hovered around a total of 600 figure, now it is around 680 miles. But the biggest improvement is in engine idling, the engine is much quieter now. I do not experience any improvement in acceleration so I am still sceptical about the claims for improved performance but miles per gallon and a smoother idling are definitely improved for my 2 litre TDI engine.

Magic. Here's what it does
If you have a problem with you diesel particulate filter (DPF), your ERG valve sticking or anything in the exhaust system, the whole exhaust system, that is caused by particle deposits, this will dislodge the particles, clean them off your turbo vanes and cause your DPF to regenerate. Unlike almost every other product which claims to be able to do this. I have used it on a 2015, 2.2 RR Evoque which started going into limp mode almost every day on holiday then got stuck in it after a spending an hour in a big autobahn jam near Stuttgart. Advice from home and the German RR dealer was to replace the DPF. €3000+. I hired a car to finish the holiday as you can't get up mountains in limp mode. I learnt about this on YouTube while I was away. After a tankful in Stuttgart with this in it, driving it back to the West Midlands and twice to London since: 1. Limp mode has not reoccurred 2. The engine is quieter and appears to be running more smoothly especially under acceleration 3. There may to be a small improvement in mileage. The forecast range seems to have increased by 20-30 miles on subsequent refuelling. I now have a can under the boot floor but am fairly confident it's fixed the DPF regeneration problem. What it won't do is repair any problems that are caused by holes, leaking pipes and faulty hose clips. I'd like to know why dealerships don't recommend it. It does exactly what it says on the can.

I recently purchased a Ford E-350 van with a 6.0L diesel that was used as a fire truck in Canada. Having only 51,000 miles and meticulous service records, I thought it was in top running condition. Being new to passenger diesels and learning about things like stiction and Cetane ratings, I was told by someone to try Seafoam as a fuel additive. After pulling my trailer to Montana this summer with Seafoam in the tank,I noticed a big difference in performance and thought it couldn't get any better, was I ever wrong! Many hours of research on various fuel and oil additives finally led me to Archoil. My order arrived and I followed the instructions on the bottle of AR6400-D. After fueling up (25 gallons as suggested) I jumped on the freeway to allow the fuel mix to get into the system. Within the first 20 miles, I noticed a significant difference in power, torque and responsiveness, it was INCREDIBLE...and this is in a well maintained, low mileage vehicle! I find myself having to watch my acceleration when leaving a stoplight, she just wants to go! I also ordered Archoil AR-9100 friction modifier for oil along with a bottle of AR-6200 fuel modification complex. Can't wait for the next oil change. The AR6400-D made a huge difference in performance and I'm sure the AR9100 will make a difference in protection and engine wear.

I own a 1980 Mercedes Benz 300CD. I used to use Lubro Moly Diesel purge. It was time consuming and had to be done frequently . With the Archoil 6400 you just have to pour it in before a fuel top off and what a difference it made. Smooth and powerful acceleration from the old girl! Quieter operation too. I also use the oil additive and it lived up to all the promises made by the manufacturer. Buy with confidence!

It worked and did improve mpg i use it on my 2013 peterbuilt cummins isx has been keeping my dpf running good

I will run this at every oil change from here on out! I wanted to run this prior to starting the every fill up cycle with Archoil...this stuff is AWESOME. I saw increased mpg (about 1.2), and the engine ran much smoother. 2010 F350 6.4 Powerstroke Diesel.

Engine starts easier and idles smoother. I have never achieved more than 16.5 mpg in suburban driving. Now I have 17.3- 17.4 on a regular basis. Highway mpg is 20- 21.5 . I gained 1 mpg on a regular basis.
