My son got a metal piggy bank as a baby shower gift years ago. They do not sell a similar bank now. So I ordered this on a whim it is perfect. It is a very small bank but perfect for memorabilia purposes. We only put collectable money in these banks for our kids one day to have as adults. It is pretty sturdy but I bet a kid could break it if you allow it to be used as a toy.

Cannot say enough about how great this is! Heavy, solid, well made. Zero flaws, great details. This is such a great gift! The only complaint is the terrible box it came in. Corners bent, damaged box - like other reviewers mentioned. Pack it upIn a different box or gift bag and it’s perfect! Loved this, also great for any train collector.

I bought already used one from amazon, the size is small compared to pictures shown. Thank god i bought used one if it is new one i definitely would have disappoint due to its size and I expected it will have wheel Rotation but Wheels wont rotate but the piece is very solid and cool

adorable, detailed features! loved the detachable box car that opened up to keep other treasures like a prayer chest or primary teeth. It was lined with silky velvet material. Just so cute and priced right! Will definitely return if i need another gift along these lines!

This train, because it has 2 pieces is small. the bank park wouldn't hold very much change and the car in the back could hold trinkets or teeth. But I would like the kid to be able to use this and I don't think what ever was stored in the back would last long and the bank wouldn't hold much money. Returned

This had a good weight to it. I got this for my daughter to give to her preschool friend for his birthday. While he liked it it obviously wasn’t as much of a hit as the bat man toys. His mother said it will go beautifully with his bedroom.
