I don't have a DB meter but I think the 0.7 sones is a bit generous. It is pretty quiet. I can't hear it at all while the shower is running and does move quite a bit of air. My only real complaint is the mounting, shooting their tiny screws just into drywall seems like a recipe for eventual failure. I put a piece of OSB up there and used longer wood screws for a bit more insurance. The all plastic construction doesn't inspire a ton of confidence in it lasting 20 years like my old metal one, but overall seems like good quality and a great value.

I consider myself an above average DIYer. This was an awful installation from the electrical standpoint. I’m not positive this was designed for USA standard electrical work. Look at the picture I included. I had to call a friend who is an electrical engineer and it took us 20min to draw up a new schematic. The instruction booklet was in English but only for the manual installation of the unit. But that’s not even the worst part. The description says it has 3 different light hue color options. True, but it changes EVERY time you turn on the light. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT THIS?!?! I tried to take a video of this, but the camera doesn’t adjust well to the light turning on and off. The only good thing I will say is, the fan is powerful and quiet. So if you are okay with a different light each time you flip the switch, have at it. Otherwise RUN from this product!

We needed a new one in our bathroom and we found this and the price was good too. It comes with a lot of accessories. Installation was easy my husband said. Light and fan quality is great.
