I was looking for a quality d ring that fit my rubber dive belt and this is perfect. It looks great and stays secure. It’s well built and thick stainless steel. I recommend it

A lot of people express concern over the weight. Weight is not an issue as much as buoyancy. The shape of these things make them perfect for sous vide. They have no issues at all holding down 1lbs steaks or burgers. I use 4 to hold down 4 lbs of ground lamb with no problems. These things are magic. No, they aren't heavy in the least. But their shape make them perfect for holding things under water.

Used one to clip my flashlight to my person, and used another to clip my GoPro to my other side. I also like this belt ring because the unit was smoothly welded together.

This Scuba Diving accessory has been repurposed as a weight in sous vide cooking. These stainless steel pieces provide just enough weight to hold down sous vide vacuum pouches, especially if you have more than one of these weights and if you are using them to keep a stainless steel screen submerged. The stainless steel is rust resistant: other weights oxidize quickly in the sous vide hot water bath. They will also work as paperweights and can be used as a conversation piece in the office, especially if you dive.

This fits securely on almost all dive belts from established brands (and stays put- doesn't slide around). It's a lightweight ring to attach whatever on. I don't understand reviews that say it seems flimsy. It's a stainless steel ring it's not going to just break apart. I can't imagine what people are bringing on dives that is heavy enough for them to worry about it breaking. Make sure you don't attach anything important to it in case you need to ditch your weights in an emergency.

I love it! I can attach it to my weight belt, clip my floater line worst comes to worst the coast guard will have an easier time finding my body if I die or get lost in the ocean... 👍🏽

I was surprised by the quality. There are so many variations in stainless steel these days that you never know what you are going to get. These are high quality stainless with a super nice finish and fit. Very strong.

Ok, I just have to tried it myself and it is not for Sous Vide. Provided I only have 1, but it did not hold things.. Talking about the weight keeper itself, it is a good build, solid and may be good for it's real purposes but it is juts not for sous vide
