Excellent Buy!!!
Excellent shirt, very light and keeps you cool. Has vents under your arm pits and out the back of shirt which no one would notice unless you owned the shirt and knew they were there.

comfortable shirt with some confusing features
Wore this shirt for the first time yesterday and, as the title suggests, the shirt is very comfortable... but also had me scratching my head a bit.So let's start with the head scratchers:1) On the back of the collar there is a "flap" attached to the bottom of the collar edge. It can be tucked up and out of the way, but then it can also fall out from under the collar. I'll admit I'm not fashion mogul, and I may not be hip to the cutting edge of things, but what in the devil is this for? My wife suggested that if I fold my collar up, then further fold this little flap up, it would provide extended "redneck" protection. Maybe? Still seems weird.2) under the arm there are vents. I'm used to something like a light jacket that has a full vent across the back from shoulder to shoulder. In cases of jacket material, which is often wind/weather resistant, this makes sense as it allows any humidity out of the jacket. In the case of a short sleeve shirt, won't the wind cut right through the fabric? I wore it outside last night (its cold) and I can confirm this is not wind proof. So why the vents? Under the arm, near the back of the shirt, they first caught my eye and made me think I had a rip. Wife confirmed that they are small (maybe 2") vent slits. Again, just odd more than horrible. The good stuff:1) The material is very comfortable and doesn't have a real "man made" feel to it. I have lots of moisture wicking athletic clothing that gives the impression that I am wearing something not of this Earth, and it isn't always comfortable no matter how much moisture it wicks. The fabric is very soft and airy and feels more like linen than cotton.2) Pockets close securely at the corners so you don't have to worry about ironing them to keep them from curling up funny.3) the color and pattern is really pretty cool. Online it is a little hard to tell but there is more to it than just small green checks.Overall I gave this a 4 stars. The cut and wear are right for my tastes and needs (taking this to the carribean where I expect it to be hot and humid), but I will flip my lid if I end up messing around with the weird collar flap all the time. If it stays put (there is no velcro or button for it) then I would revise to a 5 star.

Great travel shirt
Bought it for a trip to Turkey with their hot weather and humid cities and it was the perfect shirt. It fits well and doesn't seem like a travel shirt and it's easy to pack, light and can be worn multiple times without a hitch. I'm ordering a few more for further adventures.

Runs small
Great quality, bright colors, beautiful nylon. Columbia great design, but the shirt runs too small, if you are Large, get XL.

These shirts are light weight and super breathable. They all fit the same
These shirts are light weight and super breathable. They all fit the same, not matter the style or color. I've picked up 6 or 7 of these now and it's been my go to summer wardrobe.

Material is very light
This s*** is very light in weight. It almost feels like a T-shirt, not what I expected. I just wish the material was a little more substantial.

Way too small, but otherwise nice and lightweight
I bought this as a hiking shirt, and it is pretty much matches what I wanted in that regard. It's very light and cool.Unfortunately, it is it is way, way to small for the size. The reviews for the long sleeved version said it ran small, so I purchased a XXL instead of my normal XL. Compared to other shirts I own, the size would at most qualify as L. A normal XL shirt would be slightly baggy on me, but this "XXL" is skin tight. The XXL might fit someone who qualifies as "tall and skinny", but anyone who fits the description "tall and american" probably should look elsewhere.
