Adidas Mens Commander TD 4 Basketball Shoes

I purchased these shoes for my stepson (the sneaker head). He is 13 and his favorite basketball team is the Miami Heat, so the colors of these shoes is perfect. Also, I refuse to buy him Jordan's because he is only 13 and doesn't know how to take care of expensive things yet...plus he hasn't hit that last growth spurt yet. These are part of his Christmas gift, so he won't see these for another 3 weeks.Although, I rather like these shoes in person, I'm not sure if he will because the black parts are shiny. They are similar to Patent Leather and the red parts are plastic-like. I was hoping they were a little better quality when it came to the materials for the upper part, but for the price, I can't really complain.Like I said, I still really like them. I just hope he does, too!Update: HE LOVES THESE!!! Thank the heavens!

These shoes have a slick feel, but hold the floor well. The sole feels a little rigid, even after use, but there are no problems with the insole digging. Considering the cost of the shoe they perform above what I had expected. Adidas is still a little light in insole padding in the heel, though, so make sure you're careful coming back down to the floor.

Solid entry-level basketball shoe. I use it 1-3 times per week and have no problems. Good support and grip.

shoes fit perfectly. Very well constructed my son loves them!

They are good looking but hard on your feet. Your feet feel like they are getting poked and stabbed. I bought them for basketball but after about 15 minutes of running around in them you started to feel the discomfort to the point that you either got to rest or replace them.

Nice basketball shoe, one of the best in the market today, love this stuff so much, going to buy another one in a blue colour or something like that.
