Looks to be an excellent generator
I've only had this generator for a week now, but I wanted to report on my experience so far. I bought this unit to run my furnace in case of a power outage, but I wanted a unit that was capable of being connected to my house power panel should I decide to do so. I selected this generator because it has the most features for an excellent price: something I can lift (I'm 76), dual fuel, CO protection, quiet, etc. The only feature it does not have is an automatic switch over between fuel sources when one runs out (it appears on other models but not this one). So far, I have only done the 8 hr break in period, running with a low low1000 watt load and replacing the oil. (Do get the magnetic oil dip stick. It should come standard. There was quite a bit of metallic shards on the dip stick after the break in period.)I used only propane which is how I intend to use the generator unless circumstances require using gasoline. I got the 8 hours with just 10 lbs of propane so a couple of 20 lb tanks should serve for most power outages. Running just with propane has a number of advantages: only minutes to connect and start, longer run times between refueling, no concerns about gas degrading in storage or in the engine, and much easier on the engine, extending its service life. I would also point out that I tested the exhaust and was unable to detect any carbon monoxide. Of course, one should always run the unit outside as instructed but clearly running with propane is safer. So far, the unit has run flawlessly. One thing that greatly impressed me was how quiet it runs. What prompted me to write this review is an important feature missing from the manual and all videos reviewing this unit. Every video and the unit's manual say that you must remove the oil fill plug and tilt the unit to drain out the oil. Yet, just below the fill hole is a bolt with a rubber trough below it that is clearly intended to convey liquid. In addition, there is a hole in the case directly in front of this bolt that is clearly there to allow one to insert a socket to remove the bolt. I did remove the bolt, and it is clearly an oil drain plug. Using this method of draining the oil is easier and much less messy and avoids the danger associated with trying to tilt a 60+ lb machine. I am considering replacing this drain plug with a short length of pipe and cap that will make draining the oil that much easier. My next step will be to test out running my furnace off the generator using my modified power supply switches and electrical plugs on the furnace. So far, I could not be happier with this generator.

Great little generator
Nice generator to run a small/mid sized RV or camper. 80 some pounds is manageable for the power output. Runs quiet enough in a campground with other campers as to not bother them. I changed the oil the first time after 2 hours, then 4 more hours, then 8 more hours. I also added the magnetic dipstick, after the third oil change there were no particles on the magnet. No it has 150 hours of run time running both both gas and propane, have not had any issues. Would recommend to family and friends.

Quiet and Easy to Start
Bought this generator after researching many dual fuel lightweight generators after Hurricane Beyrl.Has plenty of power to run my refrigerator and a portable 6000-8000 BTU A/C unit, as well as some lights and phone charging. This thing is really quiet which is why I spent the money on an inverter type instead of an open frame unit which would have actually cost less but are loud as hell. One thing about starting.Even though it has electric starting I wanted to use the pull cord and have learned that if you place the selector on choke and pull the starter cord about 8 easy times and then put the selector on run and pull it again it will fire up with one pull each time you try hot or cold.I changed the oil using an oil suction tube tool after the first 1 hour of run time and then again after another 3 hours of use.I also used the Wen magnetic dipstick. After this unit accumulates 10 full hours on it, I will switch to some 5w-30 Briggs & Stratton Synthetic oil I just ordered from Amazon.I keep three 20-pound cylinders of full propane at the ready and intend to never use gasoline in this little gem of a generator.

Working well right out of the box.
The generator arrived in perfect condition. It’s very compact and easy to move around. Time from ordering to receiving was 2 weeks. It’s very well packaged, looks to be well made and high quality. It started easily and ran smoothly on propane. I plan to run it exclusively on propane because it’s a much cleaner-burning fuel, safer and much less likely to be contaminated.Break in instructions call for running it at 50% load with varying loads for 8 hours. I solved this problem by connecting a small space heater and toaster oven. The data meter showed 50%. By adjusting the thermostats periodically I was able to change how often the load cycle varied. After 8 hours the drained oil was slightly charcoal gray in color. I had purchased a magnetic dip stick prior to receiving the generator and after break-in it had a small band of dark charcoal colored residue on it - no metal filings.I tried starting several times (on propane) without croaking and it starts right up every time, even at 38 degrees. I’m guessing the instructions to “choke” are for starting on gasoline. Later on site use proved to be more troublesome - have needed to go through the start cycle 3 or 4 times to get it going (again on propane). Perhaps purging the 25’ propane line might help.So far so good. I’ll update this review as my experience progresses.
