Perfect Tent for Our Alaska Adventure!
We used this tent for a 10-day trip through Alaska and it exceeded all expectations. It held up beautifully through wind, rain, and chilly nights without a single issue. The interior is surprisingly roomy — plenty of space for two adults and our gear, and we never felt cramped. One of the best features was how easily it attached to our vehicle. It made setting up camp fast and gave us quick access to our car for supplies or sleeping if needed. The connection was secure and kept the elements out, which was crucial in unpredictable weather. The initial assembly took us 11 minutes, but we narrowed that down to 7 minutes after the 3rd time we used it. I also put it together by myself. Of course it was easier with 2 people, but can be assembled with 1 person if needed. Highly recommend this tent for anyone looking for durability, comfort, and convenience on the road. It made our Alaska trip that much better!

Bit the bullet and pleased!
VEVOR is one of the newcomers into SUV tent and had zero review at the time of my purchase. There are at least three other vendors selling tents with apparently the same design under different brand names, but with much higher pricings. Assuming they are probably all sourced from the same manufacturer in China so I bite the bullet and bought this suv tent at $152 before the $15 rebate. Upon delivery, I couldn't wait to open the package and set it up in the living room -- and I was pleasantly surprised! Set up was very straightforward, and the tent seems to be made with decent materials, and stitching is solid as well. Reinforcements are added to every tension point (See photos). I also tried attaching the tent to a Tesla Model Y -- which could be a problem because of its sloped lift gate -- and it fits! Another plus is its carrying bag -- unlike some other bags, it's made with enough slack, and after a couple packing and unpackings the tent and its accessories can still be easily fitted in. The only small downside is I wish the carrying bag were made with thicker fabric -- but with the two belted buckles (shown in photo) which can be used to tighten up the belongs in the bag it becomes a no concern. At this price pint with this quality this tent is THE choice!

Easier with 2 people but doable for one.
I really like this tent we used it twice so far, it did not rain on us so I can’t speak about the waterproof qualities. As I said in the title, it’s doable for one person to set up and maybe it will get easier with each additional set up. It’s nice and roomy. The bottom is pretty tough, but I do use a tarp underneath. For the money this is a great tent, especially if you’re just putting it off the back of your SUV for car camping. Provides great shade and protection from the wind. We had everything zipped up and it seemed to get warmer in there just from having it closed with some body heat in there. I set it up once in my yard and took it camping twice and I have been able to get it back into its original bag every time. one thing I did notice is while you’re manipulating the fiberglass poles you might notice tiny flecks of splinters that don’t cause too much of problem, but I felt them, brushed them away and that was it. Mostly happened on our last trip I was gripping them pretty hard trying to get that last rod in the vestibule pocket. Would have been great to have one or two centimeters more fabric for that! The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5, especially at this price. I love this tent though! Would buy it again!

Impressive Tent
Love, Love, Love this tent. It is large enough to sleep a queen size air mattress in for guests. It rained every time I used it and stayed dry inside. I like that it has a thick waterproof floor that comes up on all sides. I sleep in my car with the hatch open and can easily change clothes, store the bags from car inside. Privacy if needed. It was easy to set up and once stacked down it stayed put.

Great purchase
Excellent experience- I am average in setting up tents - this I needed help with it - it was a great time no leaks and pretty sturdy - above my expectations - fit my full size mattress with room to spare - you can zip up the back so you have more privacy also - if your back has an automatic lock and won’t allow you to lock your vehicle without closing the hatch - we just left back hatch open - manually flipped the latched then used the key fob to unlock in the morning -

Could use improvements
For the money, this isn't a terrible tent. It really won't hold up to hardcore campers and outdoor enthusiasts. Kids would probably destroy it in one or two weekends. The zippers tend to bind up, and stretch the stitching that attaches them to the tent. The bug screens and doors open the the bottom, meaning all the material rolls up at the bottoms of the openings. When the material is rolled to the bottom of the openings, only the screen OR the door can easily be fastened in the roll. Fastening both in a roll is an exercise in manual dexterity and fine motor skills. The size was good. The setup isn't too hard for 2 people. It comes with plenty of straps to fit nearly any vehicle, and lots of anchor strings and wire stakes. If you're looking for a way to add some enclosed space to your SUV for a couple camping trips a year, this isn't a bad option. Just be careful with the zippers, and don't let the kids near it. Oh, and if you're anywhere near six feet tall, watch your face near the overhangs at the side openings.

Outdoor for the beginners
Easy setup. 2 people definitely makes it easier but not necessary. About 40 min setup first time

S***ide tent. Do not buy.
The only benefit is being able to stand up in the tent. Ripped after 1 use, killed my car battery, scratched my paint, creates a death tent full of CO2 if you need to turn the car on (like, when your car battery dies from having the trunk open), makes temp regulation more difficult.

This is not a highend tent. I bought it for a 6day camping trip. Work god for Tesla Model Y. The extra rain cover is a joke , to small and you have to attach it different according to the instructions to prevent it from rain .. We got sun , heavy rain and windy days and the metal pegs are to short and easy to bend so we have to buy extra. The tent material is light and thinn. It is easy for a beginner (if you are new into camping) to setup. But buy a roll of ex gorilla tape because it very easy to stick a hole… even with a plastic fork .. If you only use is on summer or 1-3-5 days it works. The quality is what it cost…

Was so pleasantly surprised by this tent. I'm a camping noob who has never owned or set up a tent so please keep that in mind. The instructions were great and this was really easy to set up as a single person with the upper body strength of a 6 year old. There is one point when doing the top pole where I did struggle a bit to get the point into the sleeve but that's it. The first time took a hot minute while I was referencing the instructions and overthinking everything but the second time I had it up in about 15 minutes. It fits really well over my Volvo XC 40 and the space felt ample between the tent and the boot - just such a great idea - and really lovely to be able to stand up inside The quality of the tent felt a touch thin but that did help with the weight of it I'm sure and the stitching looks really neat and sturdy and once it was attached to the pegs in the ground and attached to the car it wasn't going anywhere even though there was quite a bit of a breeze. The mesh is a bit flimsy and it took very little pressure from my dog's nail to put a tear in it but should be easy enough to repair. The floor of the tent withstood their nails just fine. Haven't used it in the rain yet so can't speak to that. All in all for my first tent I genuinely couldn't be happier and I'm blown away at the value for money of this tent.
