I was especially happy to find refills because the pens are quite nice and it's such a waste to toss them when the ink runs out. These are typical gel pens, and like any gel pen, it doesn't play well with water, but that isn't its purpose. Keep that in mind if you need permanent ink. NOW... if they'd only start to make the peacock blue refills, I'd be REALLY happy! I just hate tossing perfectly good pens because a refill is not available. Pilot, are you listening?
