This is a long review but please stick with me. The most important thing you need to know about sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is that you do have to put in a little more effort on cleansing your scalp. I find using a scalp brush works great. I simply lather my hair and work the scalp brush through my hair at the scalp. It feels good and leaves my scalp feeling very clean and looking clean. You can find scalp shampoo brushes on Amazon for good prices. I started using sulfate free shampoo and conditioner because I have suffered from itchy, oily scalp my entire life. My scalp and skin would itch and burn. I'd have red marks on my face after washing my hair. It was horrible. I was using another big name brand of sulfate free shampoo and conditioner but my hair looked and felt like straw. It had no life at all and just looked really bad. But, my scalp wasn't oily, itching and didn't burn so I kept using it thinking the way my skin felt was more important than how my hair looked. My skin was less irritated and itchy as well. My scalp is not itching or burning and I don't find it oily either. I just ordered the clarifying because I do tend to have oily scalp so I want to give it a try. I also have issues with strong perfume smells. I cannot stand overly perfumed products and I find the scent of the moisturizing version very pleasant. A little flowery and a little sweet but very nice. I'm so happy I gave this product a try.

This is a great product for tweens. It doesn't have a lot of terrible chemicals in it, but it does a great job of cleaning. My son uses this and he has product in his hair daily from his Mohawk, but this shampoo does a good job of clearing out the product. It doesn't feel too intense of product to strip his hair though, which I appreciate. And it doesn't burn in his eyes!

I like the fact it comes with shampoo and conditioner for the price is awesome. But my hair stays oily so I needed a good shampoo I wouldn't have to use but twice a week. After showering I blew dried my hair it looked greasy. I applied shampoo to my roots and the base of my head then conditioner on my ends but it looks like I'll have to wash again tomorrow. Don't buy if you have oily hair.

Received a set of these when I was in hospital for 3 months. I was pleasantly pleased. Worked wonderfully in my hair. My hair was a horrible, nasty mess (beyond tangled, blood, etc) it removed everything easily and made my hair feel so clean and soft.
