Great value for a decent little light.
These things are great. I have four of them around the house and my person. Pretty tough for the price. Really good illumination and throw on the beam. Clip could be a bit more durable. The secondary bend for the hat clip has broken off of both of the ones I EDC. Not a crisis, but it is annoying having to file down the jagged end that remains. Battery life has been more than adequate for my uses.

Simple. Compact. Bright. Strong clip.
Here buying a 2nd one. Perfect EDC pocket size. Used it now several weeks and the wife wants one for her purse. I bumped the top button accidentally and it stayed on in my pocket, but it had a lock setting if you hold the button down to go through modes. I don’t want it locked but that feature is there if needed. I like the single press for low beam and the quick double press for max beam. Simple! It’s made well and the charge port is sealed so it’s probably moisture proof. Out of 4 types I have, this is my favorite flashlight. Only thing missing is that it’s not magnetic.

Great unobtrusive light for EDC.
I like to carry a flashlight all the time but typical tactical lights are a bit too large to fit in with my every day office environment. This light is nice and compact, without being too small for the hand. Battery life entirely depends on how bright you have it but I would say the life is reasonable proportionate to the brightness. I have the Archer Mini as well and this performs in a similar way but is a lot brighter. Pros: USBC rechargeable in a few hours from dead. Tons of brightness settings to select from with last setting recall. Very bright for a light this size and lights up a nice area. Cons: The tail switch on the Archer lights is sensitive enough that you always have to carry it locked out. The tail switch operation is not immediately intuitive and requires some time to learn how to use. The body is a little slick for my preference. Overall, this is a good light at a good price if you need something small to carry each day that will light up a dark space well. It got 4 stars instead of 5 because of how complicated the tail switch operation can be until you learn it.

Awesome flashlight
I’ll start by saying I NEVER write reviews but this light deserves one. I’ve had it since April of last year and carried it in my pocket almost every day. It’s an awesome light. Awesome size, brightness, and functionality. The waterproofing works great. I have washed it in the sink multiple times when it got dusty. The other day I heard a noise in the dryer, went to look and realized I had left it in a pocket. The light survived being run through the clothes washer and most of a cycle in the hot dryer and works just like day 1. My only complaint is that the button is too easy to hit in your pocket. I have done this several times and run the battery down. I find that using the lock feature is not usually quick enough for my use. I ordered a thrunite tn12 to use instead for this reason but I’ll continue to use this around the house and garage. It’s an awesome light!

Great light
I’ve been using this light for around 1 1/2 years and it’s been great. The value you get is amazing. I work in a pretty harsh environment and this light hasn’t let me down yet. The build quality is great, it’s still bright, so bright in fact that multiple people ask me what brand and where I purchased the light, it still holds a charge and the usb c charging port is very convenient. I know when I go to upgrade I’ll be looking at Thrunite lights again. Update: I made a warranty claim on this light because of a failing button. The claim was sent 21 days ago and no response still. Just a heads up do not purchase this and expect it to be backed by the claimed warranty. With that being said I did purchase another light from this company because I do believe them to be a good value.

NOT reliable! IF it worked it could be great...
UPDATED 8/4/24 Light is USELESS! It either won't turn on, or won't turn off. I've been looking at recent reviews for this light and see much of the same kind of issues being reported. Here are others with my problem: IF, repeat IF, it turns on, it won't turn off As the title says, this is the worst best flashlight ever. I'll explain. Everything about this flashlight is awesome. I love the size, the weight, the operation and the performance. Another dealbreaker feature for an edc flashlight for me is it must have a two way pocket clip, which this does. I want to love this flashlight so much, but I hate it because it doesn't work. I bought one and it was broken right out of the box. After charging to a full battery, it would not turn on. I'd plug it in and then it would turn on while still plugged in. Then I'd unplug it, it would turn on but not turn off. Then I'd mess with it and get it to turn off but guess what, it wouldn't turn back on. problems with the light coming on and staying on in my pocket like this one I really wanted to like this light. The small size & light weight means it fits comfortably in my pocked so I can carry it everywhere I go to have a quick easy way to see in a dark area or inside something I'm trying to fix without risking my $1000+ cellphone being damaged while I use the much less effective flash in it. This is actually the second of these I've tried using. The first one worked a few months of 5-15 minute dog walking a few times a night before it stopped working at all. I contacted the seller & quickly got a replacement. Unfortunately this one started having similar problems within weeks. It often will either refuse to turn on until I make multiple attempts or else it refuses to turn off. Sometimes charging it back up fixes this for a while. Worse, I no longer need it for nightly dog walks yet I found out that unless I charge it up every few days it starts acting up yet again. I like the USB-C charging and the basic idea but want it to work every time I try using it. So now I'm looking for a similar light from a more reliable brand!

Very good usb-c flashlight
The lock out by holding the button when its on is actually very convenient and works great. It does have a high and low setting but I almost always hit the strobe setting as well when trying to change it and that is way worse than just leaving it so I don't use that much.

Better than other Thrunite lights I have had.
This light is considerably better than others I have gotten over the years. I got, most recently, a Thrunite Archer mini. It was OK, not as bright as this one, and no dimming. But it was also small. Too small. I lost it... This has a good adjustment for the brightness. Another reviewer said that was hard to deal with, but I find it quite intuitive. It's larger than the Archer mini, but still easy to carry around just in case.
