Is it made of wood? plastic?** A: It's some sort of composite, very light styrofoam-esque material, but looks like wood. I’d call it plastic with a wood grain finish. It has a fake wood veneer. **Q: Would it be possible to get a custom size?How do I submit for a customized size?** A: I got a custom frame made. You have to contact the seller via Amazon. Send your question. I purchased it and it all worked OK as planned for me. Took a few weeks to step through it though. **Q: There are no pre-drilled holes. Lots of screws. Two white plastic things with prongs. Any idea how to install?** A: Did not use the white prongs. Drilled 4 holes on the back of the frame and used the long screws to attach the canvas art piece. Used my own material to hang on the wall. **Q: My canvas is one inch deep. Will this work** A: It is recommended that your canvas should be 1.25 inches deep. If you use your 1 inch canvas, the frame will be 0.25 inches above your canvas piece. You could put something inside the frame to raise your canvas by that 0.25 inch so your canvas is flush with the depth of the frame.
