This thing is nearly perfect. Installation was MOSTLY very well described, and only had one questionable item. So, NOTE - on the hose, one end had a mesh filter. I had to research in which direction that gets installed. SO - the mesh goes on the end that attaches directly to the unit, itself). It's slim and doesn't lift my toilet seat at all. I was concerned that it would be too close to my seat, since I'm not skinny on the bottom. But, I only touch it a little, in some positions. The great thing is that I have a tight space, with the wall pretty close on that side, and this fits nicely. The mechanisms do exactly what they're supposed to, and the aim is excellent. I love the self-cleaning, which makes me feel safe. The water temperature will depend on the temp coming into your home. First shot was a doozy! But it's really just fine, for my uses. My ONLY issue - from photos, the guard in the back appeared to be more recessed and longer, so that does need manual cleaning, when you do your regular toilet cleaning. However, the fact that it can come apart when installed, for cleaning is a boon! This is an excellent value for the money.
