You Don't Put It Together - You BUILD It
I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for the wife. I got them mostly for the height, as I just recently bought 2 chairs that were taller than our previous desks and wouldn't fit underneath. Instead of ruining the leather armrests on a pair of $400 chairs, taller desks were in order. As I said in the title, you don't put this together, you build it. Unlike other cheap quality put-together cam-and-stud pieces of furniture that I usually find on Amazon, this desk has actual screws and bolts you build it with. I'll be looking for more of this type of furniture from this vendor in the future. The metal is sturdy aluminum, and the wood is 1/2" plywood covered with a high-quality laminate. The box is a little on the heavy side, so unless you're fairly strong, I recommend having a second pair of hands to help you carry it. The box was packed well, using lots of Styrofoam and plastic corner protectors for the wood tops. Nothing was damaged or scratched in either box. Although it's not heavy to push around when complete, the desk is a little on the large size, so I recommend building it in the place where you're going to be using it to make it easier. The diagrams in the book are easy to read, and everything is clearly labeled. From start to finish using a ratchet screwdriver with exchangeable bits (the package comes with a screwdriver, allen tool, and small wrench). Each desk took me about an hour to build by myself. It is versatile and can be assembled as a long desk, or an L-shape left or right. I put a mirror image of my wife's desk (on the left) to show you what our office area looks like with both desks in place. I have a curved widescreen monitor with a large stand. Because of the size of the stand (which is designed to fit in a corner), it takes up half of the 20" depth of the top. As I rent, I'm not allowed to mount things to the walls so I ordered a monitor arm to get it closer to the wall. So keep this in mind for all you widescreen users out there. I have a full-size computer tower sitting on top as it won't fit underneath. The computer shelf has enough space to accommodate a PC that is 9 3/4" wide, 18 3/4" tall, and 17 1/2" deep. Technically, you can go deeper, but you'll need to pull the desk away from the wall or have the front of the PC sticking out a little for anything longer. My external Blu-Ray drive sits on the little shelf above the PC shelf. I could easily stack 2 of them in this little space, and since my PC tower sits above it, running cables wasn't a problem. I like the cubby shelf. I even put a mini-shelf on top that I had on my desk before to keep all my figurines, snacks, and misc stuff. The cubbies are a decent size, 14" wide, 6 1/2" tall, and 7 3/4" inches deep. Then you have all the space on top to utilize. This feature is very appreciated. I opted to not add the pull-out keyboard shelf, as I prefer to have my keyboard on top of the desk. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this desk. It was very well-designed, and easy to put together. I'll give an update to let you know how it works out having a monitor arm attached. Update: I installed the monitor arm and it's been holding up very well. The monitor arm I picked up allows me to mash the screen as close to the wall as possible. As you can see from the pictures, the back of the monitor sits about 4" away from the wall. I went from having 10" of desk space to 16" of desk space (I had to move the desk 2" away from the wall to get it to sit flat). The monitor arm I'm using is the ErGear Ultrawide Monitor Arm. It holds up to 26 lbs. (monitor is only 12 lbs with the stand removed), so it's plenty strong for my monitor. It secures well, holds the monitor in place, and the desk is holding it up without issues. You can get it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B098JT9SFR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Just for giggles, I thought I would show the little shelf I put on the top shelf of the desk. If you have enough ceiling height, you could stack quite a few things up there. I'm 6' tall, and the shelf tops out a couple inches taller than me. Anything taller would be too much for me. You can get that little shelf-shelf here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BRVSQKX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Enjoy your new desk everyone!

Functional, spacious desk
I purchased this desk about a year ago I work from home and I needed a large desk to accommodate my personal set up (gaming) as well as provide enough room for my ikea desk for my work setup and created a U-shaped desk. This desk exceeded my expectations with ease of assembly, sturdiness the extra storage space (I have 2 PCs organized on the computer shelf part) and the hutch is perfect. I have used to display nicknacks and Christmas trees. The lights are a nice tough as well. The power cord still works over a year later. My mom asked for a desk for her office space and I have now ordered a second desk for her in walnut I can’t wait to assemble it for her. I will buy another l desk in the future for my own office setup as if like to have 2 of these desks in my office. Highly recommend! Update Feb 13 2025 - Bought the 2nd desk as my parents needed a desk and the hand me down table they had as a computer desk was broken and uncomfortable to sit at. She loves my desk that I bought and asked me for this one in walnut. This was her belated Christmas gift. The desk assembly went fine (I have some carpal tunnel in hands so it was a bit difficult) but I managed. The one part that annoyed me was I assembled the desk in #2 configuration and the hole that is on the left, front where the two pieces meet did not line up with the hole on the bottom of the wood top. I had to grab my drill and 1/2 inch drill bit and drill that hole bigger just so the bolt would screw into the wood and hold the wood down properly, no true biggie since it worked out and the desk looks perfect, but something to keep in mind to have a drill bit set on hand just in case I plan on eventually buying another desk I love this one so much but can’t do that right now. This desk not only looks nice it’s functional, plenty of storage. I love the pegboard and hutch. It’s heavy duty and will last for years. I have no doubt it will be around a long time. 100% will buy again.

Worth it
Honestly am so impressed with this desk. I’m not a super handy-man type of guy and I often get frustrated trying to put things together. Putting this together was smooth and easy. Probably took me about 2 hours. The desk is very sturdy and does not wabble. My only complaint would be that the keyboard tray is damn near useless . It’s small and narrow and misses the mark. But I am using this for a laptop so I don’t even need the tray. The led lights are dope, I’m using this for a music studio so I think the lights offer a cool vibe. Super great product , easy to assemble, all for a super fair price in my opinion.

"Hey, It's pretty good."
Short version: Good desk. Enough space for my monitors, mic arm, and work laptop. Neat pouches to store my junk, and convenient powerstrip for my phone with 2 USB slots for it. Seizure prone people beware the LED light settings. (seriously, it's a little bad.) Needs to be a little taller and have more depth, keyboard tray a little low for my tastes. Get Double Sided tape to hang the LED lights more properly. I had a desk off of here a few years ago, and it served me well, but I needed an L shaped desk for my work from home set up, so I can multi task a little better. So far, it's proved its usefulness~! Off the get-go. The package was heavy for one person to lift. I live on the second floor and getting this up the stairs was a nightmare, so be mindful of that when you're trying to get it into your house / apartment. The instructions are clear, and the bags with each screw are labeled properly. I will say the labels are prone to falling off as you're taking them out of the bag, so read each instruction carefully alongside the instructions. Each instruction gives you the layouts that you can go with and pay -very close attention- to how you want to orient your desk. Also be VERY MINDFUL of the instruction booklet when it says "Pay Attention to the orientation of the holes" otherwise youll end up like me taking it apart and putting it back together because I didn't read. Building it was simple. They provide a screwdriver, wrench(if you need it) and an Allen wrench. It wasn't bad. The only parts I had difficulty with was the Keyboard tray, and the L part of the L Shaped Desk. Most of that was due to not reading the instructions properly, so that's on me. Some parts of the wood were slightly chipped near the corners, but the corner protection rubber thingies they give hid it, so I'm not complaining. It's more sturdy than I imagined, and its at a decent height. wish It were a little taller because the keyboard tray is a little low and I don't have enough leg room for my little footrest. Thinking of just taking it out just for the extra leg space. If it had a little bit more depth it would be okay. The only glaring issues I've had is the keyboard tray, and the LED lights it came with. If you're prone to seizures or have issues with rapidly flashing lights, be very careful adjusting settings. They do have a mode if you just control it via the remote that reacts to sound in your room and it rapidly flashes between all colors at once at rapid speeds. It's really uncomfortable. There is an app that you can download with it that gives you a little more control over how the lights function (Timer for when it turns off and on, adjusting the brightness, etc) and it makes it really nice to use. However, getting the LED Lights to stick into the crevice on the desk is a hassle. The sticky part of the LED Lights sometimes doesn't peel off all the way, so if you have double sided tape, use that instead and save yourself the headache.

Great quality, simple to build, low cost
I'll start by saying I am heavily skeptical of most furniture on Amazon. Usually you'll get very shabby quality products, usually made of particle board. Sneeze at them and they'll fall apart level quality if you get what I mean. With that out of the way, Im in love with this desk. I bought it for my girlfriend and decided to get one for myself as well after getting this one set up. The size is great, plenty of room for all sorts of use cases outside of gaming. The quality is stellar, it's very sturdy, and relatively simple to assemble. I will be honest and say it took me a couple of hours to build it, but I had no trouble with the instructions. There was no missing parts of any kind, in fact I ended up having extra screws but that may be for the other configurations. I did not set up the lights but only because I prefer to set up all my lighting with Govee products. Cleaning this desk is no issue, and it hardly makes a sound. The outlet is seemingly good quality. I absolutely reccomend getting this desk if you're looking for plenty of space with some storage options.

Five Stars - Excellent Wooden L-Shaped Desk! I recently purchased the Wooden L-Shaped Desk, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! This desk has exceeded all my expectations and more. From the moment it arrived, I could tell that it was a high-quality piece of furniture. First and foremost, the design is stunning. The L-shape provides ample space for my computer setup, paperwork, and other essentials, while still leaving plenty of room for me to work comfortably. The desk's smooth wooden surface gives it a touch of elegance that complements any office or home decor. The build quality is exceptional. The sturdy construction ensures that this desk will last for years to come. I never have to worry about it wobbling or feeling unstable, even with multiple monitors and heavy equipment on top. The solid wood material feels durable and reliable, making it a worthwhile investment. One of the things I appreciate the most about this desk is the organization it offers. With built-in drawers and shelves, I can keep my workspace neat and tidy. No more cluttered desks and searching for lost items! Everything has its designated place, allowing me to stay focused and productive throughout the day. Another standout feature is the ergonomic design. The L-shape not only maximizes workspace but also provides a comfortable layout. I can easily switch between tasks without feeling cramped or confined, which is a huge plus for my productivity. Assembling the desk was a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions and labeled parts. It took me only a short amount of time to put it all together without any hassle. Solid desk and nice functionality.
Great desk. True to measurements and it's nice that it can be modified in three different ways. It's pretty stable and was easy to assemble although it takes a little time.

Love this desk!
I love this desk! I use one half for my computer/TV set up and the other half for my crafting station. Pros +It's very spacious and can fit a lot of little add-ons for all your items, like desk drawers, bins, etc. +I do really love the color changing light feature, due to my light sensitivity I can get migraines very easily. The changing color light feature allows me to find a color that is easy on my eyes and still allows me to see and complete my work. +The two USB ports and power strip have really come in handy in helping me work on my crafts while charging my phone or using my desk fan. +The desk also has the ability to become a few inches taller, you will have to set the height during setup though, afterwards its a bit harder. +The keyboard shelf is also great because it helps keeps the desk top more accessible for other items like if I need to write in my notebooks while still typing away my documents. +Above the shelf for the tower is another smaller shelf where I have my Xbox and a separate USB multi-port. +Finally I really like the peg board, I havent filled mine up with tools yet, but I know it will help me once I've finished organizing my study. Good yet bad The desk also has a shelf for your tower, but keep in mind the height of your tower and whether you have USB ports atop it because it may be difficult or impossible to place your tower safely. The height measurement of this shelf is 20.5 inches or 52.07 cm, my tower fits just snug enough but I can't use the USB port atop it because there is no room. Cons -The book shelf feature though could be a little more sturdy. During setup I had put my book collection on the shelves and it began to bow and buckle in the middle so I had to quickly move everything off before any permanent damage was made. I only store light items there now. All in all I really like this desk, it was a great purchase that has really helped me organize my study and get things done. The only thing I would change is more support on the shelves for books.
