Good product !
Smells good and works good! The texture is nice and then the hold is what was expected! Not sure if I would purchase again but it does last a long time!

A tad expensive, but works well!
I love Ethos Styling Sea Salt Holding Spray and am strongly considering ordering more. The hair spray has a a slightly floral smell very typical of other hair spray products. When initially spraying it on it has a tackiness to it but once dry on the hair it does not leave any stickiness to it. It is pretty easy to shape my hair when used in combination with my normal hair wax product. The product lasts pretty much the entire day but does benefit from slight touchups. The product comes in a can that feels like it should be a pressurized one, but it is a manual pump spray bottle spray. At 4.0 oz it's too large to have in your carry on so it must be taken under the plane which kind of defeats the purpose of the non-pressurized cannister. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but I would have either liked to see the bottle reduced to 3.0 oz for the purposes of travel OR increased substantially especially at a price point of $20 per bottle. Overall, I'm pleasing with the product and want to order it again; however, I think it's a little too expensive for the quantity that is given.

Sticky tacky when not combed through

According to directions, this is to be used to hold and set filler hair fibers. I do use dark colored hair fibers (at times to fill in) empty spots around my hairline. This spray does provide hold and helps the fibers have staying power. It does have a light scent of salt water/sea spray, which is a pleasant beach-type of smell. Good product, and not just for men even though it is marketed that way. (can be used by all races/genders). Just do not apply on damp or wet hair. Lightly spray on dry hair then comb through. You will then be all set. (Pardon the pun). 👍👍

Offers Great Texturizing and Hold
I got this specifically for my son’s flow to help style it a bit more. Sometimes is falls in his face and annoys him. We tried using this sea salt spray on his hair in the morning before school and it held it pretty well. It does make hair a little stiff, but that is to be expected since it’s a lot like going swimming in the ocean and the letting your hair air dry. I didn’t notice any scent and it dried fairly quickly. It might require some touch ups if you have a complicated style, but for some added texture and keeping his hair out of his eyes it worked great.

Good hold without being heavy or crusty
Good holding spray or creme is hard to find. Either they leave your hair feeling stiff and crusty, or they don't stand up to a little wind. The best versions allow you to run your fingers through your hair without getting stuck while maintaining your look after finger combing. This spray does just that... enough hold to get your through the day without too much hold that would otherwise leave your hair too stiff (think 80's hair gel). Overall, I'm very pleased with this spray!

Sticky and strongly scented
M teen has been asking for sea salt spray so I thought this would be a great product to try. It has not turned out to be the lightweight, beachy-scented product we had hoped for. I found it to be quite sticky and the scent is such a strong masculine perfume scent that I needed to wash it out right away. I can see how it adds texture, volume and some hold to hair but the scent is too overpowering for me.

Adds Texture, Lightweight, Very Little Scent
This Ethos Styling Sea Salt spray is a lightweight, lightly scented product that worked well in my teen son's course, wavy hair, helping it to hold it's "messed up, bedhead look" for most of the school day. Sprayed onto dried hair, it was easy to finger-style into the look he desired. It reminds me of a pump-style hairspray product but without the alcohol to aid in drying time. The sea salt and other additives adds texture to the hair, allowing it to dry into the shape and style wanted. It left his hair feeling soft to the touch and yet set in a style. In places where he sprayed a bit too much, it did dull his hair slightly, and left it feeling a bit course and coated. It washes out very easily, too. One caveat, the price of $20 (at time of review), is nearly double what we currently pay for his other sea salt spray hair products (found at grocery stores and on Amazon). If the price were lower, this would join the other bottles on the counter as a good option for styling without the stiffness.
