Great for the money
Awesome item at a great price. The wide angle on a small screen makes it difficult to see cars comming up fast in the distance, but thats the trade off for having a small screem with a wide viewing angle. I am totally happy with this item.

Works great
Great value I use my camera on my ebike love being able to see cars behind me. Easy to put on. Monitor easy on and off for charging.

Good but not great, but way better than a mirror.
First of all the unit is GREAT for night riding, day time is ok but it is much better if you are waring UV sun glasses then it is good viewing. Mount for the monitor on handle bar is way too big and bulky. It is a real PIA to remove for charging and then reinstalling again. I think a three inch viewing monitor would be much better and the mount should be reconstructed. Battery life was not bad and you should get about 50 to 60 miles in before recharging at this time I would wait for second generation. Update today and gave it 3 stars. It is a good unit but a few adjustment would help this unit to be better the real PIA is the mount and dismount for charging the unit. If you are not careful you could drop the unit because it is screw on and you have undo it for charging and try screw back on the next bike ride. After using this unit the screw mount for the monitor broke. The Vendor said they would send a replacement. This did not happen. Buyer beware. Down grading to two stars. Replacement Part came in today. Thank you.

Great. Absolutely love this.
On the e-bike I have, I could only put a rear view mirror on the right side and 1/2 of the rear view was blocked by my body and the bike. I decided to get this instead and it works wonderfully. The picture is nice and clear in all light conditions. It shows everything behind me. The rechargeable battery life lasts several days of riding for me. I love not worrying any more about a car being right behind me.

Very dangerous. The wide field of view makes it impossible to see anything.
It works, easy to install. It is very dangerous. The 110° Wide Angle of view makes it impossible to see anything. I almost turned right in front of a truck because I could not see it. With this ultra wide angle of view, everything is extremely small on the screen, which is nearly impossible to see in sunlight. The field of view should never be this wide. Don't risk your life on this poorly designed thing!!!!!!!

Great product!
Installed on my mobility scooter. Very easy to setup and use. Camera quality is excellent during daytime. A little fuzzy in the pre dawn hours when my dogs enjoy their walkies. It's exactly as advertised.

Wide angle lens makes for very small objects
I struggled between 3 and 4 stars for this review, but after thinking about it for some time, the whole purpose of installing a camera like this on your bike is to view rear objects, but that's the sole limititing factor here.....the wide angle lens just make objects appear too small until they are right up on you (more explanation below): Pro's: - Easy to install. Between the velcro stips and included zip ties and limited connections, it's pretty easy to set up. - Cable length. I'm really impressed how much cable this camera comes with to ensure you can pretty much place on any type of bike. There was excess cable I just bundled up with one of the zip ties and tucked away out of use. Easily can handle a bike built for two if one was inclined. - Battery life. One charge can last a long time. I've gone on numerous rides so far with the battery indicator only discharging the first 25%, so it can easily handle long rides or dozens of shorter rides between charges. - Picture. The 4.3" screen, when viewing still, is pretty sharp. Pixles are tight and could easily pass as the same quality of modern streaming smart phone. Con's: - Wide angle lens, while capturing a pretty broad viewing angle, unfortunately sacrifices distance alerts of upcoming objects. Both cars and other bikes seem to appear as just small dots on screen until they are right up on you. By the time the object on the screen is identifiable, it's basically almost on you anyway. I wish there was the ability to preset a zoom, or reduce the viewing angle slightly to increase object size on screen. - No settings feature. Strictly on/off as far as I can tell. Would be nice if there were thing like battery saving, increase/decrease brightness, adjust color, adjust contrast, etc. - Screen can be washed out from sun. I noted that at certain times of the day, the ambient light from the sun can almost wash out the entire picture. I wish camera had a small overhead hood to help cut down on this. Overall impression: Great idea, does what it says, easy to install, sharp picture under the right light and enviorment, but objects (cars and bikes) are so small at times, I'm just not sure it's worth it as a safety device that you are trying to address.

Got more than I thought I was going to get 5/5
I didn’t realize that the camera had a light built into it so viewing at night time was clearer than I thought. With alot of other cameras, they lacked clarity at night time due to showing only black and white. With color during night and day with this product it’s an ease to see cars coming behind me or passing by me. Extra Pros: clear screen, bang for your buck vs other $80-100 camera setups The light on the camera really amplifies any asthetic you’re going for. Looks pretty cool in my honest opinion. Con: yes; as in 1 con! The glare at night time when cars have their beams on you, makes it hard to make up areas around the light but you can still see on the borders so it’s not too bad of an issue. With higher bikes I feel as if the glare isn’t as bad but on my small frame bike I did notice more of a glare from cars at night time.
