So these patches come in different MG of nicotine. The ones I got for my neighbor are 21 MG. I like that these are perforated because as per instructions there is a plan for cessation how much they recommend per week based on how much you smoke. Since she smokes less than 10 a day she chose to use just half of a patch where perforated. It was easy to peel off and tear at the perforated line. It stuck on her upper arm easily and after several hours there was no sign the patch was falling off or peeling off. Her husband smokes more than her so he is using the full 2 pieces. They have used this brand before so they were glad to get another pack. After a few days of using these patches they both felt it helped reduce their desire to smoke. More for her since she smokes very little to begin with and somewhat helps him because he is a regular smoker. He said although the cravings are not as frequent. My husband tried these. He's been using a store brand (HEB) with success. These don't seem to be as strong as the name brand or the HEB, but they do cost less since you get double what you get with the name brand or HEB (2 weeks). The nice things about patches is you can mix and match what you need. You can put on 1 and 1/2, or you can cut a 14 mg or 21 mg patch in two. Either way, you should be able to find the strength you need. The biggest hurdle will be the 21 mg, because you may have to use 1 1/4 or a different brand. But once you get past 21 mg. You can use the 21 mg as the 14. Then you can go to cutting a 14 mg in half or 3/4 in place of the 7 mg. Or you could half the 21 mg. Mix and match for what you need.

I went through the first step and halved my use, this step is really good for craving control for me. I am able to leave a cigarette partially smoked and be satisfied. I do not have weird dreams or feel nervous with these and I would order again. The edges do not adhere as well as I would like but the middle stays secure until time to change again.

These patches are great for extending those last couple weeks when using a step down process to quit smoking.
