I love that this lighter does not require lighter fluid to work, and that it is flameless. Don’t have to worry about wind - but it does take awhile for it to light a flame on anything of substance. Wish that the power cord was a bit longer - it’s only 5 1/2 inches from plug to plug (extremely short). The igniter pulls out from the unit on a 2” flexible neck - makes it so much easier to light a campfire! Safety clip (holding the lid shut) is a bit hard to disengage, but I guess it shouldn’t be “easy open” (since it is for safety). Nice that the lighter includes a carrying strap, but the plastic release clip is flimsy and doesn’t work well - and the loop that attaches to the lighter is so thin. Good price.

My wife initially bought one for me as a gift from my wish list to have when camping. I was impressed with the quality and immediately ordering one for our son-in-law, who is an avid outdoor enthusiast.

Order was received a day before we expected it to arrive. The lighter is perfect for everything! We haven’t tried to submerge in water although my 17 yr old wanted to try it! Great product and durable. I think we might need one for camping too!
