Organic ShopSuncare Body Lotion 30 SPF, 150 ml

Bought this after falling in love with the Organic Shop scrubs and I am not disappointed. Used daily on a fortnight holiday in Cyprus and it smells lovely (subtle, non-overpowering coconut scent). You don’t need much so this little bottle is almost still full. It sinks into your skin, leaving no grease or stickiness. My skin has been super smooth and no spots, which I do usually get on holiday from the constant reapplication of suncream and other (body) aftersun that I’ve used on my face. I’ll be always using this after being in the sun in future, and I’m going to try it as my evening regular moisturiser too.

Lovely watermelon smell and nice to apply

You need to apply this cream directly after a thick layer of moisturiser if you have dry skin. If your skin has not been moisturised, it will apply like a thick coat of dry paint and not rub in properly. There are photos of other customers who experienced this problem. Once it is on over moisturiser, it’s lovely and leaves the skin nourished.I have not burned or tanned through this cream. Although I am very careful and don’t spend too long in direct sun, my skin is fair and therefore vulnerable. I have placed coated areas in the sun for up to 1hr 45 minutes with no effects. This is an excellent cream. It is not heavy.I have a minor complaint about the pungent raspberry smell. It lasts for 2-3 hours before it wears off. After an hour or so it begins to smell like old juice dilute. I have autism and find the smell to be overwhelming. It’s not a bad smell, it’s just strong and it grinds into fabric for hours after.

I really like this cream. It moisturises without being greasy, high spf for working outdoors, and most importantly for me, it doesn’t irritate my skin (I have rosacea) or feel tight and itchy. I chose a different cream after I finished this to try to combat the redness of my skin and I regret not buying this again.

Do you have oily or combination skin? Then this product is NOT for you!!I have generally have combination skin, some areas a little dry and others more oily and was very pleased to find this cream as it had SPF (which I generally find hard to find in creams for oily skin) plus being berries I imagined it would have a nice scent. Sadly though those are the only good things about the cream! When putting this on, I'd say it had the consistency and feel of a cheap suncream - greasy and sits on top of the skin, no absorbency. I feel it is so badly described I should be able to get a refund but I doubt it since it's not eligible for a return.If I could give it 0 stars I would!

It does not specify on the bottle that you cannot use on the face , it said whole body, naturally I put some on my face as that’s the main part of the body hit by the UV rays , but it doesn’t blend well on the face infact it’s very greasy and yeah I would not recommend this product.

I had high hopes for this spf 50 face cream. I use other products in this range & they have all been very good. This one came with a faulty top which wouldn't allow the cream to be squeezed out slowly. Nothing would come out at all (yes I did remove the seal 1st!) So I had to squeeze the tube harder, then so much cream came out which I could not get back into the tube, despite trying.Not a great start. The cream itself is quite thick which is normal for an spf 50 face cream. It is ok to rub into the skin, but the cream doesn't spread all that far from where it was deposited on my face, unless you apply more than is really needed. The 2nd application the next day, I dotted small blobs all over my face & gently rubbed it in. This time I managed to cover my whole face. The cream looks shiny as soon as its rubbed in, but if you give the cream a few minutes to soak in, then it looses the shiny look somewhat. It does not ever look matt, so I still required a mattifying primer on certain parts of my face.It's too soon to see how well the cream stops my face from getting sunburnt. I will add more info once I've used this for a while. The cost is reasonable. I would recommend this product so far. The tube is definitely faulty so be careful when squeezing the tube!!!

Applies well and doesn't leave a white residue.
