Q Acoustics 5040 Floorstanding Speaker Santos Rosewood (Single Speaker) - 2 x 5 Mid/Bass Drivers, 1" Tweeter - Stereo System for Home Entertainment Center, Surround Sound TV/Record Player

Has a horizontal soundstage, pretty good bass and high detail. A bit too much low mid (200-500Hz) that got to me as my ears are sensitive to these frequencies and I don't like them. Tweeter is in the center of the two woofers which lowers the tweeter listing height and vertical angle as the speakers are not that tall already. Overall, I give them a OK, but the low mid high bass was just too much for me. A touch weak sounding overall. I have been listening, composing, recording , mixing, playing electric guitar for 45 years. My last speakers were VMPS Super Tower II a/r. Looking for a smaller speaker that is detailed, even, and easy on the ears without a sub. Medium sized room, critical listening in about an 7-8 foot Triangle setup.

I only recieved one speaker

The sound quality of those floor speakers is excellent. You should state more clearly that the connection cables to the amplifier are not included and must be purchased separately. You only recommend to purchase the nakamichi 24K Gold plated banana plug.

These are brilliant. Love them so much. Great sound, elegant packaging, not unreasonable price. Indeed I love them so much, since I couldn't find them in HK, I bought them in the UK and then posted them over here!

Los escucho con unos Rega Brio y un Wiim Pro Plus, y me crean fatiga, me cansan. Yo que podía estar horas disfrutando con mis Triangle Borea BR03 he intentado mejorar y lo que me causan estos Q Acoustics es cansancio, fatiga auditiva. Son muy bonitos, pero no son para mí.
