I’m THRILLED! The waves are loose & beachy just how I prefer! They don’t look like punk rockers from the 80’s! It’s so easy to use & heats up quick. Love the setting guide & timer too because they protect my hair from damage.

It’s very cute the results and stay in my hair for longer than I expected. My hair is considered long so it is very easy to do it. High speed. You can choose the space between tries and will look the way you want it. The only downside of it is that the product is a bit heavy and it makes me tired of hanging it for long. Other than that, super cute, heat level excellent and very good product quality. I recommend it.

All the girls in my house use this tool. It works wonders and it my go to style. Worth the money in my opinion. Very durable and easy to pack up for vacations. Easy to use and quick curls that last.

There weren’t much reviews from black women with pictures on this item so I took a gamble. I have 4A hair texture and I used the 1 inch waver/crimper after already having my hair straightened for a week and just wanted to add some waves/texture to change it up. After reading reviews I didn’t want to turn the temp up too high. I achieved the look in the picture using the 300 temperature setting for a 10 second hold. I would have liked more pronounced waves and had to go over some sections more than once and probably could have turned the heat higher to prevent having to go over a few sections but didn’t want to damage my hair. Now it did work. But it still gave that “flat iorn” smell other reviews have mentioned and I just used some olaplex oil after I was finished and it help with the smell and the next day the smell was completely gone. CONS: I will say that the timer is iffy didn’t always sound after 10 seconds, the waver itself could open up wider to make it easier to grab sections, and it sometimes snags hairs between the plates and plastic body of the waver PROS: timer (when working- worked most of the time), quick heat, easy to handle, works for 4A hair texture, only took 15 mins to do whole head (I have thin hair), has rubber guards/grips on the edge of the iron so you don’t burn your fingers and they act as grips so the iron doesn’t slide on the counter or burn it (this was a nice touch). All in all, I do like it and will continue to use it

I never leave product reviews.. so it’s saying something when I felt the absolute need to leave one for this crimper!! I have naturally wavy hair but since I run my hands through it during the day, it leaves my waves flat. I bought this in hopes of touching up my waves so that I wouldn’t have to wet and recrunch it every morning! THIS CRIMPER IS AMAZING!! I don’t get the smell everyone is talking about. I think they are just burning their hair and blaming the crimper. I use mine at 280° (lowest) for 8 seconds and it does the job! If I do 300° I do it for 6 seconds. I have long thick hair so it takes me about an hour to do (sectioned and small pieces). The pictures: -In the bathroom, I crimped my hair Sunday night, and this was my hair Monday afternoon. -In my bedroom, these were taken Wednesday night (3 days later)! Waves still in tact and gorgeous! I only touched up my top layers because I run my hands through them which ultimately flattens the waves. It is now Thursday and the waves are still gorgeous. I’ll wash my hair Friday just because my hair is getting greasy from product. Pro’s: 1. Heats up quickly 2. Can set timer to beep after 6, 8, 10 seconds 3. Super easy to use (I got the hang of if after my first use, which was like 30 minutes of practice) 4. Waves last all day & overnight 5. Super easy to touch up flat waves if they’ve straightened out over night Cons: 1. It turns off after a certain amount of time, even if I’m still using it. Not a big deal, just kind of annoying. 2. I still haven’t mastered how to prevent the crease from the first crimp closest to my roots, but thankfully after 30 or so minutes, the crease disappears so it’s not that big of a deal!

FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU AND ITS GREAT!! I do have that burnt hair smell, not during, but I get a wif of it like perfume. Next time I’m going to turn the heat down. I did 340 and 8 seconds bc I have fine hair but a lot of it, didn’t smell it while using but like I said now my hair smells and I get wifs. Next time- heat protectant, lower heat, and don’t wait for the beep. My hairs virgin and shoulder length and has no damage because I let it air dry and just keep it up and then wash it every 3-4 days. I suggest wiping down the iron with half water and half isopropyl alcohol before use. Love the look, hate the smell. Hopefully after changing it I’ll find what works, the instructions give suggestions, I chose the second lowest best possible (for thin BLEACHED HAIR) and 8 seconds like it said. Changing to the lowest. 6 seconds, not relying on the beep to stop holding down, and starting as low as possible

Custom timer and it beeps when it’s done! Light weight! Cute color! Long cord! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! SO MANY COMPLIMENTS!! This is so easy! I have the Bed Head Wave Artist and it really hurts my hands and is hard to squeeze. This is SUPER EASY and I like the waves much better! Just buy it!
