Not as expected! some 5 stars are misleading!!!
would give 5 stars for the idea and the amazing outcome, but one star because of the hardship of building it, it is not an easy smooth process, don't expect your 10 years old kid and younger to go through the process of building smoothly, you going to help your kid in each step of building it, even as a parent you would get sometimes frustrated becasue it is hard to get some pieces together and sometimes if by mistake you put the wrong pieces together you going to use a small screw driver to take them off, even if your kid has a great experience with LEGOS still so hard for them to do it on their own. I was expecting it to be way easier to build since it is not that cheap.I was trying not to give one star because I like the whole idea and wanted to support them but it was many flaws in building it.

It is impressive
This bluild set is really big and has a lot of impressive details. The instructions aren't great. There are pieces that are a navy blue and some that are black that are the same size. It is impossible to tell in the instructions which colour you're supposed to use. There really needs to be something to indicate which one you're supposed to use. It came to point where I needed 16 of one piece but I didn't have enough of either colour because I guess I used the wrong ones earlier in the build, but I don't know which ones. The instructions show which bag number you're meant to use for the following instructions. This number includes multiple bags. For some reason after bags 1 I ended up with a ton of extra pieces. These pieces ended up needing to be used to bags 2 instructions. No idea why that was, but whatever. It all worked out. As you can see in the attached pictures the base curves up at all 4 corners. This is because the base is not solid. The perimeter is the large, thick grey pieces, but the middle for some reason is just flat thin black pieces to span from one side to the other. You can also see in my pictures that this curvature makes the roof just a mess. Since nothing is flat the pieces don't fit properly. I had to use an extra piece to make the dome pole tall enough to fit due to the curvature. Not all these pieces connect together like the name brand pieces. Some do. In fact, most do. But not all. It was a strugle to get some pieces together. And I mean not on the main structure like the roof, just taking two pieces and trying to put them together and nothing else. This does include a load of extra pieces which makes me concerned I messed up somewhere, but I didn't. I checked three times. So that's a plus. The structure could be amazing if it wasn't for the cheaping out of the center piece of the base. This set isn't cheap so why cheap out? The blocks themselves are a nice thick plastic like the name brand.

Fun times with the kids
I really enjoyed building this with the kids. Took us a few hours, but it was super fun. The thought process of how they make the building blocks to make al aqsa is amazing.

Finished quicker than expected!
So much fun when building with your kids! We finished this Lego like set faster than the haram of makkah one. I recommend this one first for beginners or if your kid is under 11.
