This knife set exceeded my expectations. The knives are very sharp right out of the box and make food preparation quick and effortless. I initially bought this set for my son who could not stop talking about how wonderful they were. So, I decided to buy a set for myself. I am so glad I did. These knives are absolutely amazing and the best knife set I have ever owned. I have bought more expensive and high end sets in the past and within a year those knives all seemed to go dull and I was never able to get them sharp again even using the sharpening tool that came with them. These knives are extremely SHARP and cut through food including tomatoes effortlessly. And, the pricepoint on these is great. I also love that the knife block is much smaller than my past sets so it takes up less space on the counter and they look very stylish in my kitchen too.

They’re sharp! First thing I did was cut my finger as I was washing a knife. When you have been using knives that, over time, hardly cut butter anymore, there is a learning curve to handling sharp knives. Focus! I cut lemons, tomatoes, chicken, steak…minced garlic. The knives work great. I almost could not believe it. I am very happy with this purchase and if the included sharpener works, too, that will be icing on the cake. It does specify for the sharpener that it is only for the non-serrated knives. The block holds everything compactly. It’s a nice set-up.

I owned different knives but these are a whole different level. Not only that you get a full set for a funny price. I can't believe how cheap is it for these top quality knives. It's also really good to have the layer that saves them from rust. Honestly, it's always a pain but with these it doesn't happen.

I like the quality of the knife set - they are exremely sharp so you need to be very careful not to cut yourself. I haven't been using them long enough to comment on how long they stay sharp but so far so good. I
