The media could not be loaded. It works very well. All the components seemed very high-quality. I did have to tighten the two screws on the bottom before I first used it. Due to the square shape of the ignot it is a little difficult to get them out of the mold but again that’s due to the shape, not the quality of the product.

The interior finish of the mold is really rough. I haven't used it yet, but I spent some time smoothing it with a flap wheel because it was so rough that I had my doubt that it would release. Yes, it was that bad. Looked like they ran over it with a face mill at sixty miles an hour.

Pretty rugged, should last forever. Takes practice to pour into tje top of the mold.

I just wish the thickness of the solid lingote side will be thicker

After reading the mixed reviews, I feel the record needs to be set straight. It's an ingot mold designed to make an ingot that will be rolled out on a mill or forged / formed into a finished product. Ingot molds are not designed to pour a finished piece of wire or stock. The machining is a bit rough. But, all the imperfections in the ingot are smoothed out once rolled in a mill.
