This is a nice-looking table and is a great size for a small dining room. It's not as sturdy as our last table, though. It does jiggle if bumped or pushed on hard - not nearly as much jiggling as a card table, but I have been worried a few times when I've had a full cup of tea and my 5-year-old leaned on the table.Also, while it looks great, the top finish has dust specs in it, so the feel is a bit rough to the touch. The finish seems thin, so we're using placemats, which we've never done before.All in all, great table for a cheap price if it will be used modestly. Probably not a great fit for a busy family that will put a lot of wear and tear on it. My brother and husband looked gigantic and theyre not really that tall at 5'8". This was so inexpensive, I thought “ no great loss. If I don’t like it , it goes to the laundry room “. Well , it’s beautiful & incredibly sturdy & looks remarkable.” I’ve received many , many compliments &” wows” & even gasps. This table is the best . I used to do interior design in Manhattan for 20+ years , I would have used this table frequently & my mark-up would have doubled the price. I suggest buying it for your dining room , library, office, living room ; but , buy it before the price increases.
