This hat is great! My kid, who hates hats, gladly wears it! The mesh is very light weight and airy, but if treated roughly, like if a dog got at it, it would easily rip. The brim of the hat is sturdy and holds its shape well. It looks great, like a regular hat and not dorky function over fashion hat.I was going to give the hat 4 stars because the stitching is kind of sloppy but then one of my children splashed root-beer soda all over the front of the hat and let it dry. Brown spots everywhere on the light grey colored brim. I was sure the hat was stained but the dried root-beer soda completely washed off in 30 seconds with water and teeny bit of soap. The hat looked new. Very impressed!

This hat actually gets quite cold when activated with water. It's been great to keep me from overheating on summer walks. I love it!

Perfect hat, velcro is strong and quality made. Will be buying other colors. Dump some water into the hat and keep cool longer

Love this when working in the yard in the SC heat. Soak it and it helps me from getting overheated. Even with getting it soaked all the time it still looks good!

This is a quality product, however, it just didn’t work for me due to (again) a sizing issue. It’s somewhat difficult to purchase clothing items online and I’m not very experienced with it. But if it works for you, then it’s a good quality grab.

If you are in any part of the country that has been dealing with this heat....and you are outdoors......this hat is a terrific option. I have been soaking it with ice cold water (and yes, your head will get wet!) and the relief is instant. In this heat, on the golf course, it will last about 2 hours, but it doesn't really matter so long as you have access to some cold water. It works over and over. And I just washed it the first time and it comes back to life just fine. It's really a great product. They should make more light/white colors would be my one suggestion.

I didn’t notice it in the picture, but the main part of the crown is more narrow than the brim. That means when you put it on, even if the head size strap is set correctly, it makes it look like you have a fat head (because visually the sides look like they are sticking way out from the front). The wet and cooling concept is solid and I liked the idea, but the hat design is pretty wonky.
