I bought this set for myself because I love to make things out of clay, especially jewelry! My 10yo daughter started making things too and loved it so much that I ended up buying her a kit of her own! The clay is good quality and comes with a lot of tools and add-ons to make different items. Will definitely purchase this again once it runs out!!

This kit was a huge hit with my daughter. She loves that she now has her own clay supplies just like mommy. It had everything she needed to get started right away. The clay does require baking to have it set firm but it is easy to do. While I had thought the air dry would be better so we wouldn't have the baking step we found the polymer in this kit a much better option for us. We had tried an air dry set of clay in the past and my daughter found that frustrating as it started to dry before she was done creating so pieces didn't stick and was also difficult to package to keep for future uses so you basically had to use whatever you opened that same day. This kit she could open all the colors she wanted, they stayed pliable for the whole time she was playing and creating and for the next time she wanted to play days later. We wrapped them in plastic and stored them easily in a baggy for future use and they stayed just as nice as when new. There were plenty of colors and she mixed colors to create new ones for what she needed. I really liked the hole cutters as they made nice neat holes to string jewelry and we used the little ones to also cut out round dots for eyes for little characters we made. I also liked that the kit came with a variety of jewelry making supplies so you had everything you need to make several jewelry pieces. I was super happy with this kit and it was exactly what I was looking for for my daughter.

All of the components feel substantial and I'm pretty certain the auxiliary equipment will carry over into my permanent bead making collection. The polymer clay colors included are a great mix of the necessities so you have a lot of creative possibilities. There is enough here to get a good idea of what colors you might want to build up for your specific needs.Everything here is well worth the set. If you are considering the best polymer clay jewelry making kit out there, this one was it for me.

We need help. Daughter is in love with the clay colors and tools but once cooked, the projects crumble when she tries to add the clasps. So close to amazing. Not sure what we are doing wrong!
