Bought this for home. Great assortment of stuff for minor burns whether at home, camping, or just out. Can’t beat the price for the quality of the product.

The review I thought I'd never write.
I bought this kit to supplement my standard IFAK and Wound Closure kits. I wanted something specifically for burns, and this kit seemed to fit the bill. Well, a few months after purchasing the kit, I was in my backyard grilling. There was a grease fire and I used a large amount of water to put out that grease fire. Bad idea? Well, here's what happened...the water did put out the fire. The grill cavity itself was so flippin' hot that the water turned to steam and that steam shot out and burned the back of my thumb. It hurt and I knew it was going to be bad. Ran cold water on the hand and then quickly moved to the house and got out the kit. I opened a packet of burn gel and liberally applied to the area. I then cut out a piece of the gel dressing, and applied it to the back of my thumb and secured it with the included roll of gauze, using the included shears to cut the gel pad and the gauze. Then I used the tape to secure the gauze. The next day I went to the doctor and she confirmed that I did everything properly, then diagnosed it as a second degree burn. The entire back of my thumb was a giant blister. I won't post photos because, yech. Anyway, here's what I've learned in using the kit: 1: This is good for getting a burn victim to the doctor. You will not be giving anyone long-term treatment of a burn using the contents of this kit because there simply are not enough of most items for long-term treatment (more than 2 days). 2: This kit would be good for 1 large burn area or 2 (maybe 3) smaller burn areas. Otherwise, you'll start to run out of treatment items. I would carry 1 burn kit for every 2 people I expect in my car, possibly 1 kit per person. 3: I would additionally add a roll or two of 2" Coban wrap (self adhesive bandage, 3m brand). It works way better than gauze and tape for securing bandages. 4: I would add a few extra gauze pads. 5: If you want to continue treatment using this kit, then add some petroleum jelly or some triple anti-biotic. In speaking with the doctor, the current doctrine for burn treatment of 1st and 2nd degree burns is keeping them moist with a petroleum jelly or equivalent, watching for signs of infection. 6: Buy a bag to keep the kit in. One that's easy to open (i.e. a zipper or a strap). trying to open that plastic bag with one burned hand wasn't fun. I now have an IFAK like bag that I keep the burn kit in. I bought the orange colored bag because, in my mind, orange=fire/burn. Makes it easy to grab the kit you need if they are color coded! The burn gel and dressing in this kit are awesome and work well. My thumb is slowly healing and the blisters are starting to deflate or at least some of the fluid is being re-absorbed. Overall, this kit does what it's supposed to do and came to the rescue in the case of a 2nd degree steam burn. Thanks, Rhino!

Good item
The kit was packed with items. I brought it for someone else, who liked it. Would be good if they had antibodic cream in it too. I gave 4 stars because they not finish using

Perfect!
Just like a fire extinguisher and a tourniquet this is one more item you need to own that you don’t wish to spend money on. But I’m glad I did after receiving a pretty bad burn in the kitchen. The bag it comes in as well built and has a good variety of items. You might be able to build it all cheaper, but this is the way to go to have everything you need in one package.
