The North Face Women's Borealis Backpack

This is a super duper backpack for women. It's very comfortable. It takes all my stuff, from a spare coat to my lunch. Scarf, gloves, hat, umbrella, water bottle, laptop, widgets, chargers, notebooks, pens, I could probably fit my cat in there, if she wanted to come! It's expandable. It doesn't stand up by itself but who cares. Most of all, it fits my hourglass figure, and the straps don't squash my boobs. One very happy bunny!🐰

This is a great bag for day hiking and commuting alike. Really comfortable and the straps make it suitable for long hikes. Zips are of a good quality pocket sizes are great

very with this backpack. after hours of searching(need bag for the commute) ordered this on Wednesday evening and came today morning (Friday) quick UPS delivery. very light bag with ample space and pockets. used it for the work commute and dealt with all the usual weight of clothes laptop etc. love the colour(grey) great waist and chest straps. overall very pleased - I'm sure the bag will last me a good few years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Its very strong bag, the shoulder strap is very confortable even with a heavy load.Separate laptop room is convenient, and special place for tablet on the front is brilliant.The colour is amazing, love the blue.

Good backpack. I bought it since my old Isabella was falling apart.This version is a bit bigger than I expected, since I am a bit small, but in the end it's an advantage since I can fit better my stuff in. My 13' laptop fits well in, but there is enough space for a 15'.I used a couple of times for hiking and I really loved it. It provides a good support for the back and shoulder, so it generally doesn't seem that heavy. It got fleece inside the pockets, which I believe it is not a great idea, since if you spill something inside by accident it's a bit complicated to clean.Overall it's a good backpack that you can use for your daily commute or for the outdoors adventures.

The design and inner dimensions of the borealis have changed over the years and the bags are starting to become useful again. I have had three North Face Borealis bags and the original 2003 one was amazing so when that became too wrecked after 6 years of everyday cycling walking and working I replaced it with the same. Except it wasnt the same, my 2009 Borealis was designed for a laptop and not much else. That and the build was poor with the inner lining ripping and coming apart all over place. I have stuck with the brand though, having faith(!!?) and my 2015 replacement despite being a bit more tablet/smartphone friendly with some fleece lined pouches for screen protection is back up to being a descent internal size(they were all sold as the same internal volume but the 2009 was just wrong). We will see how hideous the internal fleece pockets get with wear but its an improvement on the 2009. As always lots of other features, bottle holders and straps and of a size that makes it carry on luggage friendly on planes. I like it.Combine it with a ten litre dry bags for clothes to keep stuff completely dry inside and maybe a small rucksac cover to guarantee its storm proof appearance
