Great paper for my needs.
Second time buying the paper. Surface is slightly textured, which I like. Also a reasonably pale colour so gives a good back colour. Large size, works very well for what I need. Thank you.

Perfect Canvas for My Kingfisher – Holds Paint Like a Pro!
I used this NUCASSO watercolor paper for my kingfisher painting - not completed yet i might add, and I’m really impressed with the quality! The 300 GSM weight makes it sturdy enough to handle multiple layers of paint without buckling or warping. The natural white color really makes the colors pop, and the texture is just right for watercolors, smooth enough for detailed work but with enough tooth to hold the paint well. It’s great for students or anyone just starting out with watercolors, offering a professional feel at a student-friendly price. If you’re looking for a reliable watercolor paper for your next project, this pad is a solid choice!

just as good as the expensive stuff
nice quality for the price, ive seen no difference using it in my painting compared to the expensive stuff. it makes you worry less about how the end result is gonna turn out. pretty much on par in all catagories and 3x cheaper. though the glue binding is very weak, easy to remove the pages but could come apart

Paper buckles during wet on wet but dries flat
I'll start by saying that I'm a beginner to water colour painting and was really interested in the wet on wet technique where there is quite a bit of water on the page before you add the paint. I had attempted this at first on a really cheap pad of water colour paper that was very thin. That paper has buckled whilst painting, so I wanted thicker water colour paper that would be able to properly cope with the water. The Nucasso Watercolour pad has nice feeling thick paper, so I was hoping that it would be better than the other cheap paper I'd previously tried. However, it soon became apparent that it was buckling as I was painting my first picture with it. I carried on as best I could, generally just using wet on dry after the initial disappointment. However, once it had dried, it seemed to have flattened itself out again. As I'm new to this, I don't know if that is just the way it always is, but not come across anyone mentioning this in tutorials I've viewed! The end picture didn't work out bad, I'm quite happy with it, but just a little concerned that I'll be adjusting how I paint just because the paper isn't right. I did paint straight from the pad, so didn't have the paper stuck down to a board with making tape. Could that be the reason for the buckling? Would be good to know and I will have to test that out at some point. The paper is a good size and feels nice and thick, with a good number of pages, so I think it's probably good value, just unsure of the suitability for wet on wet, but the water didn't soak through to the page below which is good.
