I had this to keep my knee straight when walking. Yes I know it's a ROM brace which should be locked at different settings depending on the injury but it was really good for my use and supported the knee really well. Over clothes it had a tendency to slip slightly and need to be retightened. On the bare leg it was fine. If you do need to eliminate a squeak then use a little bit of oil, 3-1 or bike chain oil. Do not use WD40 or any other lubricant as it won't work as it's metal on plastic.

Firstly it's a good knee support and helps with walking although I still need help standing up if getting out the car, the support does squeak and doesn't come with instructions on how to use it.

Adjustable angles are best feature for me. Well made product and Adjustable to limit movement of the injured knee. As its the first time I've had torn ligaments 67 yrs old this braces is a godsend.

My Father Tried It On His Leg And Then Over His Trousers, Only At Home, Unfortunately It Would Stay In Place, Not Possible To Tighten The Smallest Size Any Further, It Kept Slipping Off So Didn't Give Him The Support He Expected!

Does not give you the support you need. It just slides up and down over the knee joint. Absolutely useless waste of money

This brace works wonders. I have gone through 5 different braces and this is the best one. It has a soft inside and the way it is designed let's you wear it on your bare skin without all the velcro rubbing against you. Easy to strap and having 4 strap instead of the normal 2 really help keep the brace in place. The adjusting flex is easy to use and move. I've had braces where it was hard to move them. This one is just push and set to the desired spot. If you are looking for a brace to help with pain and joint problems this is the one I would recommend. Make sure you get the correct size though!

this brace works well. I should have got the smaller size as I was in between sizes. I was able to adapt to fit my needs. Well made

I got this brace to immobilize my knee after falling on it. It's actually really comfortable and I can wear it for the whole day with no issues. It keeps my leg straight and braced, taking all pressure off my knee. It does slide down a little and I need to readjust it periodically, but that's not a big deal. I'm only giving it 4 stars because as others have also noted, it started squeaking the day after I got it.

Very happy with this purchase. It is comfortable and stabilises my knee well. The dials for setting the range of knee movement are not the most quality plastic, but is does the job and holds the setting we. The shorter length of the brace (particularly for knee to thigh) is helpful when I am wearing over clothes and need to go to the bathroom. My physio has provided me a professional brace which is full leg. This product provides me just as much support as the professional brace, and there is no difference in comfort. The may benefit of the professional brace over the purchased brace is that the professional brace has adjustable quick release clips to secure it. These make the professional brace slightly easier to but on and remove. But this is not a game changer. At this price point the purchase brace is an excellent buy

First i wish i could deduct only a HALF star for NO INSTRUCTIONS?!? But minus a full star would be unfair - it was not very hard to figure out, especially not after lookingvatvreviews and videos for this and similar products. With limited use so far (several periods of use in one day): the flex and extension dials were easy to understand, to set, and did what they were supposed to do. My son's thigh is right on the line between L and XL (21 inches); we got XL which was able to be tightened very snug/securely. The relatively long design, with two tightening straps for each of thigh and calf, seem to allow fir some customizeability and hold the hinge bars pretty firmly aligned with upper and lower leg. The materials and construction seem sturdy and of good quality, especially for a device that was a half or a third the price of fancier alternatives. The flex limitation works almost exactly as set (ie, 90 degree setting limits flexion to 90 degrees). You have to set the extension limiter a little higher than the extension-limitation you actually want (ie, set it at 20 or 45 degrees to limit to 10-15 degrees). This problem is minimized by tightening the straps very tight. Overall, it does what it is supposed to, was comfortable enough, secure/did not slide down my son's leg while he was actively moving around. Very happy i bought it.
