They keep me alive - alongside Statins
I take 1 of these everyday for last 12yrs+ to countereffect the negatives of my daily Statin. which are one of the few good drugs out there imo. Statins do what they are made for in reducing total cholesterol levels but they also destroy cells.. So for that reason alone I take a Co-enzyme pill with the statin. The co-enzyme 'protects' cells or at least reduces the impact of the Statin. I researched this years ago and have forgotten the science of it - but it is proven, which was backed up by my Dr at the time, who confided that really everyone who is on Statins should take Co-enzyme pills as well but of course that would cost the NHS here in UK too much to prescribe them to the millions of Statin users. My suggestion if you are a long term Statin user, is to look into effects of co-enzyme in the body and make up your own mind. There are no side effects with the co-enzyme that I have had or am aware of.
