Solid buy
Works great, and was easily assembled. I was able to install it outside my home and I have had zero problems with it since

Better than expected
I didn't buy a Tesla so the other charging poles wouldn't work for me. This is pretty universal. A friend gave me their old charger and it was a beast, 33 pounds and very large. To make it fit I left off the overhead shade. With the weight maxed out I wasn't completely sure if it would hold up, but it has been solid even lasted through two very powerful storms and our worst windy periods. Pretty sure it will stand up to anything. It is very solid and the way I have it setup I will be able to change out the charger which I figure will go out before the pole will.

You may need to do some fabrication.
We bought the VIVO Outdoor EV Charging Stand to mount an Autel Level 2 charger. The charger is capable of up to 50 amps on a circuit with a 65–70-amp breaker (80% rule). Beware that any charger of significant amperage requires a thick gauge cable. We used a 50-amp 240v breaker and #6 copper cable to support the charger which was set at max 40 amps - more than enough for our PHEV. Once you have all the materials, we suggest that you layout the parts before committing to the installation to make sure you have a full, open and accommodating path to the charger. Every installation will be different. The details: For our application, we had to bury cable from the house to the post's installation location on a cement cylinder we poured at the top of our driveway. If you use UF-B direct bury cable, the width/thickness and pliability of the cable becomes a critical factor. We realized UF-B was not going to work for us. At the base plate and top plate of the post, there are holes that are too small in diameter for the cable to pass through. And drilling or reaming the holes out to be larger is restricted by the narrowness of the inside of the post. For our application, we decided to pull the UF-B sheathing off and pull the individual insulated wires in PVC conduit buried under 18 inches of cover. The minimum size conduit that we felt we could pull the 4 conductors through was 1 inch. Even then we only pulled the black, red, and white through the PVC using the white for ground due to the thickness of the wires in the conduit. This required a 1-3/8" hole in the base and top plates of the post which we had to drill to enlarge to accommodate the conduit. But, then the upper section, where you mount the charger (and a local cut-off switch for safety), that bolts to the post's top plate had no hole in its base plate - aka no path. We had to drill that hole from scratch. Once that bit of fabrication was complete, we had a clean path for the conduit, and the cable therein, from the base through the post and out the top. Using conduit was great for many reasons including it provided a smooth round surface to use caulk or adhesive sealant around it to keep water out of the post. And conduit protects the wire from chaffing on bare metal. All that said, it is a nice stand. It seems to be very sturdy. It carries the weight of the charger and a Square D cut-off switch box. When we plug the cable into the holder on the charger, the post feels very solid and does not flex from the force. We like that it sits up high. The cable holder is high enough that we only need 2 loops of the 25-foot cable, and the cable is entirely off the ground. Height matters as we do get snow in the mid-Atlantic. We have not witnessed strong winds, but it feels very solid and will have no problems. We may buy another stand for parts or for charging another car. Most of the other stands were way overpriced. This one was reasonable. We like the cover too. It would be good for all if the manufacturer would drill 1-3/8 holes on all plates to accommodate 1 inch conduit which I believe should be used in every application. Only four(4) stars since the upper section mounting plate had no hole at all.

Good option to avoid mounting to the house.
If your goal is to not mount your charger on your house, this is a good option. Grizzle Ultra charger fits perfectly.

good product, could be better if the wire could be fitted inside the enclosure.

Great for organizing the charging apparatus
Love it. We live in an HOA community without garage. We put the station on the front porch and were able to use the existing 110 outlet. We had to buy a 50 ft. charging cord to reach our vehicle but it wraps neatly around the charging station. The weather protection hood is great for keeping rain away from the charging connection

Exactly what I needed.
If you can’t screw it into the driveway, you can dig a small hole in your yard and fill it with concrete.

It is quite strong and the top section is compatible with Tesla wall connector. Strongly recommend over some of the pricy ones in the market.

Got this for round my daughters for the price it’s a good buy , needed slight tweaking the connecter plug didn’t fit the one with the stand so used the one that came with the charger after tweaking it , a couple of other tweaks but nothing major the pick shows it without the lid or weather cover, all nice and tidy just the job thanks

Looks very sleek, we still have to bury the cable. The only thing to consider is what you mount it to. We had a helical pile put in the ground to secure it and then a metal plate to attach it to the helical pile had to be welded on and then we screwed it onto the plate. We had to apply a membrane between the steel and stand as the stand is aluminum and steel and aluminum touching will rust. So I just recommend doing some research of how you plan to attach it to the ground prior to purchasing.
