My wonderful 17yr old cat had horrible mats, all the way down to the skin. These clippers do an excellent job removing them. They are not too loud and the vibration not so terrible, so my cat tolerates them for several kitty minutes. These are excellent for the price. I recommend these clippers.

These clippers worked great on my cat! They were quiet and the cat seemed to really enjoy it but he loves it anytime you are touching him. I especially loved the glove that came with the clippers. It was so simple to remove the hair! It appears to be a great little kit for the price! Lot's of nice accessories!

I bought these for my cat and use just the bare razor that is the number 1 that is metal and it works good. They are quite and the battery life lasts a while all things considered with the price point these are a really good deal! I even started cutting my own hair on my head with these and am highly satisfied with the results of the comfort in my hand and while using. The noise is very quiet and does not scare the cat like normal hair clippers will.

I have a Maine Coon cat and she is elderly and tends to get matted fur. I used this product initially to give her a lion cut for the summer and it worked so great! I now use it any time she had a mat in her fur. It's quiet and strong enough to not get caught in her fur. It's also very well made so that it does not cut her either. She actually enjoys the vibration and purrs when she gets a haircut. The battery lasts a very long time and it is also easy to clean. I highly recommend this product!

This shaver is amazing. My cat Waylon has had contant problems with matting for years. He won't let us brush him and he fights pretty hard when we come at him with the beard trimmer/shaver we have for humans because it's too loud and takes too long. This one took literal seconds to cut through horrible mats, close to the skin and he barely noticed. No pulling, no noise, no anxiety. Highly recommend it!

These work well but you have to be careful. My first pair broke after 2 uses. All plastic so when changing guides I literally pulled the whole head off and it broke! Good luck contacting the company.

My cat got some fairly bad matting around his hip area, so I bought these clippers. Everything worked out fine. Very happy with the results. I'm happy with my purchase, even though I've only used it that one time. This package also came with a small green "grooming glove" that I never bothered using. After all, I already owned a regular brush for my cat, which my longtime cat loves. But for whatever reason, the cat who had the matting issue (I've only owned him a few years, after his previous owner died) really dislikes being brushed. On a whim, I decided to use this little green grooming glove on him. And he absolutely loved it! Wonderful surprise! Made me SO happy! Oddly, when I tried using the glove on my longtime cat (the one I've had since he was a newborn kitten), he wasn't digging it. And was openly afraid when I would try using it on his head. Oh well. To each his own. One cat likes the regular brush, the other likes this rubber grooming glove. I'm happy either way...

Works great on my long hair ragdoll. Shes 16 so has issues grooming. She is much happier now after being shaved. Altho she looks like a little rat. It's easy to use. Once you figure out the best way the get those mats. Allways use the guard. Clean everytime. It took me maybe 3weeks to get all her mats but when she got irritated I would stop till the next day. Very happy with it as I was anxious to try it myself. Make sure you google how to shave a cat as that helped me alot. Alot cheaper and less stressful than taking her to groomers.
