PURE FUNCTIONAL BEAUTY!
I'm pushing 90 years, and fell, for the first time, almost at the end of a 1/4-mile walk, onto my home's front concrete patio. OUCH! I had a cane, but it was practically useless! Too short, and became wobbly as I fell.I ordered this pole - 55" length. Received it this morning. Beautiful piece of work that measures exactly 55" in length! The pole has a smooth "wavy" surface that gives your hands the ability to support your body as you are falling downward! I love good woodwork, and this is perfect! Would I buy it again? Without any doubt! TFB

Go smaller
Got this for my mom to help her walk more steady she 78 years old. It’s a little too tall for her I would not go with what is recommended. If you’re using this just to use as an every day Walkingstick.

The sticks crumbled and were unusable as attempts to walk with them after the sticks crum
Not trusting the stability of this product. When they crumbled I fell and was shook up. So I ordered a more heavy duty set of sticks. I found the First sticks to be helpful until they broke.

Not as described
I ordered one of these walking sticks several month ago and have been using it for stability when I go for a walk to prevent tripping on uneven surfaces. I left my stick at my beach condo and decided to order a new one for home. It came quickly, but as some other reviewers discovered, this one came without the promised rubber, nonslip tip.
