Q: What is expiry date please

On the packs i purchased last month it is 05-11-23

Q: Does the mash have to be hot, or do you use cold mash on top before putting it in the oven?

This is what I do. pre cook my fish mostley cod and smoked haddock, remove slin if any,de frost prawns, slice and steam cook two large leeks,boil my potatoe smash them with grated black pepper,butter and milk, put fish, leeks and prawns into an oven proof dish pour on the sauce normally two packs gently mix so as not to break up the fish to much, spoon mashed potatoe on top leave a very rough surface to aid browning sprinke with grated cheese. It is now ready to go in the oven, make in morning oven cook in evening for dinner.
