Great fit for my mini pony
This is my 3rd time ordering this grazing muzzle. There are plenty of adjustments to get the perfect fit. I have a larger mini pony that is too small for some pony sized tack but too large for some mini tack, this fits perfect. If you use it daily for 4-8 hrs expect to replace it yearly due to the hole being warn larger. That being said I think it’s sturdy and comfortable. Check that there’s no pointy bits where the muzzle attaches to the halter, one of the three had a bit of rubber like padding I needed to trim off or my pony would get a rub sore. Even with that I feel this is a great grazing muzzle that helps my pony stay trim. She gets excited when she sees it because she knows it time to go out. My vet says it reduces grazing intake by around 40% (when new)

Sturdy Grazing Muzzle
This has been the best option of a muzzle for my miniature for restricting his grazing. I have bought 3 over the last 6 years or so and they have held up well. He does eventually chew a bit through the hole making it wider, but it takes him a couple years. It stays on well with modifications and duct tape to shorten the straps to fit his small head. He has been able to get it off on occasion, but for the most part keeps it securely on. Definitely has been a lifesaver in allowing him to graze a bit and maintain his quality of life without overeating and having a laminitis episode.

Mini Muzzle Day 1
This is Day 1 with the mini size muzzle on my sneaky girl, Cupcake. I will be excited to see if she figures out how to remove it by the time I get home from work. Initial fitting is good - the muzzle seemed a bit large, but there are enough points of adjustment that I could cinch it up to make it fit pretty well. The double velcro attachment on the headstall strap seems like a great safety feature. Cupcake is a 34" mini with an arabian type head, so I was a bit worried her tiny muzzle would slip around in the mouth guard. She immediately came out of her stall and went to the Friesian girls' stalls to try to steal hay. Nay on that hay! She hoovered around in the muzzle like a guy with a metal detector. No luck! I'll report back on success of the easy breath muzzle staying on. - One week later, the muzzle has proved to be sturdy, comfortable (not wearing on her face anywhere) and luckily, my mini mare has not been able to remove it or get another horse to remove it. Great product!

Much happier mini
This grazing halter is comfortable and stops the frustration of not being able to eat at all. The nose is not covered so he can breath easier. It does reduce the amount of grass being eaten so mini can stay out all day and not get fat.

I like the openness of the easy breath holes
My mini goes through 2 or 3 muzzles a year. The Tough-1 muzzles are by far my favorite. They don't rub as much as the others. It was really easy to put a halter fleece over the nose band with the easy breath holes to allow his rubs for the off brand one that this one replaced. It's bad enough he has to wear a grazing muzzle, he shouldn't get sores from them Too! Pro tip- save your muzzles that have enlarged holes from use to use at different grass lengths/times of year.

I thought it was wonderful until today when I found my mini horse stuck ...
I got this grazing muzzle for my mini horse about 2 years ago. I thought it was wonderful until today when I found my mini horse stuck to the fence. Somehow she had gotten the metal hook stuck on the fence and when she tried to escape, a noose was formed around her neck. The more she pulled, the tighter the nylon strap got around her neck. It was 90 degrees here today. Thank Goodness I just happened to be out walking and decided to visit my ponies. Thank Goodness I was able to free her by undoing the velcro. She is doing well now and thankfully unhurt. But what if I had not been out visiting her this afternoon? What a horrible tragedy would have happened to her. For safety reasons this breakaway halter was suppose to break!! And, it did not break!! I warn everyone who gets this grazing muzzle. I thought this was one of the best grazing muzzles out there...until today. I will never put one of these on my horses ever again. I am lucky my pony was not killed.

Horse can chew through the opening and increase the hole
This muzzle is light weight and not bulky so I liked it for the summer season. However, the center hole can be chewed through, therefore increased in size and no longer slows grazing. If the actual area where the hole is was reinforced - it would be a great product. Our mini is not an aggressive chewer either.

Grazing Muzzle
Very adjustable. Working great. Our mini does not mind it a bit and has helped her be able to be out in the pasture more.
