I live in a city apartment and our guard office at the building entry needed a clock; since the administration would not buy one, I decided I would get one for that office. This clock is perfect for that purpose...Big numbers and easy to read even from afar. The guards are happy to have it there, too. But it is not a clock I would use in my apartment itself. So, yes, it is practical but definitely not elegant!!

Nice clock for the price. Using in my bathroom. Keeps time well.

Nice looking and quiet non ticking. Accurate time. But it eats batteries, need to replace every six to nine months. My old clock lasted two to three years. And after less than one year, one stopped working.
