The taste is very distinct but delicious

I've wanted to try sea moss for a while, so I decided to try out this gel. It comes in a jar and looks a lot like mint jelly, although maybe a bit more of a bright, almost fluorescent, green.When it first arrived, my wife and I each tried a small spoonful straight up. My wife thought it was disgusting. She found the texture "funky" and the flavor unappealing. I didn't mind the texture at all, and found the flavor oddly appealing -- kind of a mix of green apple and something else I can't identify. Slightly tart, slightly sweet. Since then, I've eaten it on toast, both straight up or with peanut butter. Personally, I think it tastes great with peanut butter, but the thought of it made my wife turn as green as the jelly.I will definitely finish the jar, but given my wife's reaction, I doubt that I'll buy more.

This is a food product that might take a little extra getting use to for some. That's because it's just a little bit of an odd texture being a gel. Not like any sort of jelly or preserves you might have had, and it's not like apple sauce. Also, it's not like Jello either. Soft, but gel like. Easy to use in all kinds of foods. Blends well. Or you can just eat it by the spoonful. That's often how I tend to eat this. This variety has a green apple flavor. The only point that I would pick on is that it's a bit too sweet for my liking. But understand that I don't like things that are all that sweet. Most people would probably like it this way, especially kids. It's safe to eat and does the body good. You don't need much, but it's flexible enough that you can use more if you need to for various dishes that you might be making.

I received two broken jars of my order, no damage to outside of packaging, but when I removed the plastic from the jars, the product spilled out and I could not use because of broken glass.

I have tried a few different brands of seamoss. I do not like this one as much. The texture is off and the quality does not seem as good as others.

...but it is a bit more subtle and less sweet. The green apple flavor is a winner and the gel thickens up my smoothies. I can't really say if sea moss provides any of the numerous health benefits it claims, but I like the flavor of this offering. It mixes well in shakes and adds substance to the overall finished product. I can eat it straight by the spoonful and don't detect any "seaweedy" flavors. It isn't bad on toast either.Assuming that it is healthy as it purports to be, I'll say that I like this product and would consider getting it again. This is my 7th jar of raw, organic sea moss gel so I suppose that's as good a recommendation as anything.~ Kort

The media could not be loaded. I was very skeptical about the seamoss gel flavor & purchasing it. I've heard so much great information about the benefits of seamoss. My 1st time trying the seamoss gel apple cider vinegar flavor. I must say it tasted really good. It tastes just like the jolly ranch apple candy. I like the the flavors, easy to swallow, size & quality. I'll be using it in my salads. I highly recommend this product.
