This is a great little safe lockbox for your home/office. You can use it for documents like birth certificates, social security cards, old ID's, extra set of car/truck keys, some cash for emergencies, a small notebook with all your computer logins & passwords etc. Understandably, the box has a little weight to it (similar to the weight of a gallon of milk), but the good sturdy handle makes it easy to carry. It's the width of a collage rule notebook.. but about 2 inches longer. Overall, the size is a good size, just enough space for the essential necessities.. it's convenient and easy to carry.

The size is perfect for keeping bills, ID's, and some coins. Sturdy and has so.e weight for its size since it is double walled. The double wall and latch make it hard to brake into. But because of its small portable size I keep it in my big floor safe. Two keys provided. Safety for rent payments if the bank is closed.

After losing my social security card in a mandatory evacuation from a California fire, I decided I needed something better than the small box I was using to keep my documents in. The marketplace for small boxes for valuable documents, hard drives, etc. can be confusing. This box piqued my interest because of its reasonable price and the familiar "Honeywell" name. After unboxing it, I can say that I am impressed. One minor gripe: mine was delivered without discreet packaging (meaning, it was obvious I was buying a lock box). This is slightly concerning even though it's not on the level of a safe. But this may be of concern to some people, depending on where you live. The box itself has a great powder coat finish and its construction is solid. Nothing feels cheap. The lock is perfectly functional and smooth. Included are two keys and a booklet with instructions on how to purchase more. Finally, although this item is listed as "fire resistant", this isn't mentioned on the packaging. I have no way of telling if this item is fire resistant without potentially damaging it. My hunch is that it isn't, despite what it says on this listing. However, for me, this was not a major gripe because I wanted a durable lockbox where I could put my fire-resistant envelope with my important documents, hard disks, etc. Next time there is a fire or other disaster, I will have a nice, hefty box that I can carry out with me. And while it sits at home, it is still protected.
