Once assembled this is a very sturdy and quality shed
Once assembled this is a very sturdy and quality shed. It does take some time to assemble so make sure you read the instructions a few times to familiarise yourself with the process. There are some pretty decent videos online as well that help. The assembly really isn't that bad if you take some time before you start. It took me 6 hours on my own from unboxing to finished shed. It's important to make sure that the panels are the right way around as some are very similar, particularly the roof panels. You must make sure the base and roof are squared off before you start attaching panels to ensure all of the holes line up. I had no problems other than fat fingers and small screws being incompatible after a few hours :) This really is value for money and looks great on the allotment. Much cheaper than a wooden shed of similar size and doesn't need treating every year. Just be prepared for a day of crawling around on your hands and knees, if you have someone to help it will make a difference, but it's not that hard to do it yourself. Just having someone to put the washers on the many many screws would be helpful. Oh and make sure you have a cordless screwdriver or drill, if you try to do this with a proper screwdriver you won't be able to hold a cup of tea for a week.

Think Carefully
This shed would try the patience of a saint, half inch screws that need a washer x4 screws for every panel. I am not inexperienced with DIY and found the diagrams confusing this shed took me about 24 hours actual labour time to put together. The shed arrived with two corner pieces damaged, short of small screws, short of the screw washer bolt thingies. I would not buy this again, even though now it is complete it is half tidy, it does compliment my garden. It isn't for the feint hearted, it isn't easy to assemble, the diagrams leave a lot to be desired and a shortage of screws and bolts.

Good value for the price
Having read previous reviews, I was dubious about committing to buy this shed. However, I'm glad that I took the plunge, because for the price I think it represents good value for money. It took me about 16 hours in total to install (spread over 6 days due to many stops for rain and wind). One word of caution - I would urge anyone buying this to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY before starting. It's not like an Ikea item with lots of simple pictures, so you need to keep your wits about you and double-check each stage as you go. If you do this, you shouldn't have any problems. Now that I have the shed installed, it's a huge improvement on the knackered old wooden shed it replaced, so overall I'm happy with the quality. The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is that the instructions could be clearer and simplified, but like I say above, this can be easily overcome if you read and understand them thoroughly before you start and pause to check each stage as you go on.

Great shed, nice and sturdy
Received quickly, within 4 days of ordering. If you liked Meccano as a kid then you'll love this. I used some concrete gravel boards as the supports to the sides and this worked really well. Get some UPVC sealant for the roof sections and use it between each panel to seal the roof whilst building the shed, it's worthwhile. A good whole day of work for a couple of people, nothing difficult just A LOT of screws, as in hundreds of them. Some panels didn't quite line up but a small 2-3mm drill makes light work of that. One last thing...be very careful of the sharp edges on some of the brackets and panels, they really are razor sharp and slice flesh quite easily.

Great looking shed, but...
Let’s start with the good bit:- when fully assembled, the Yardmaster metal shed looks really smart - especially for the price. Now the not so good bits:- many of the pre-drilled holes don’t line up and l had to drill almost 20 holes (using a 3mm drill bit) on the roof frame alone. I don’t need to say how bad the instructions are as this has already been mentioned in other reviews. Also, my shed came with 4 identical roof ends rather than 2 x left and 2 x right ends. This meant that l had to improvise and drill out both holes the same diameter to accept a nut and bolt rather than using the provided self-tapping screws. The bottom line is you have to be prepared to re-shape many parts as well as drill fresh holes in order to complete the shed. If, like me, you consider yourself to be above average in DIY skills, then l’d say give it a go. Just remember to make an early start as the construction of this shed will take a full day (mainly because of the extra faffing needed to make the panels line up!). Finally, have a Swear Tin handy - you’ll need it!

DO NOT BUY...DO NOT BUY...DO NOT BUY
This is a terrible, awful, disgraceful product I scored it 1 star only because I could not score it less. How this shed was ever given the go ahead to go into production from the product 'blue print' is baffling and how trading standards have not been call to fine this company for selling a substandard product with a hugely miss leading product description is unbelievable. Reason for my daming review are endless but totally justified and can be summed it by one comment...screws are for wood for a good reason!!!

door is not secure so will have to beef it up with a better locking mechanism
it was the biggest metal shed I could find for the least amount of money. screws are rubbish so I bought M5 stainless bolts which took an aweful amount of time to put together. its not very high, touches my head and i'm 6'1"so will raise it up with extra steel. door is not secure so will have to beef it up with a better locking mechanism. It was cheaper to buy this than the materials to build one from scratch but I now wish I had built it of my own design.
