there were 20 good reviews when i purchased it and now there are 3 bad ones… where those all fake reviews? because this product SUCKS! do not buy. i tried my hardest to like it but it does not blow out cold air and the water had to be refilled by the hour or else it will make a horrid screeching sound. the fan itself makes a loud squeaking noise when it rotates and it is just obnoxious. DO NOT BUY THIS

Don't believe too much of the product description! If you choose to use the ac feature be prepared to clean the device and hose inside of the water chamber and add more water in a few hours. That's important to because I used it while I slept. You will be awaken to a loud clicking noise alerting you to add water. Ugh!Also, cleaning will destroy it. This is definitely not well put together. No screws were included for the base nor were there any screws in the black box inside the water chamber.

1. Installation instructions are very poorly written. 2. Instructions include numerous warnings, including “do not use extension cord”…but the fan’s cord is about four feet long. 3. Instructions say not to open the ice packs, but there is nothing but a tablespoon of sand in them, and nothing inside to freeze. 4. After 2 minutes of swivel, the unit begins to click. We made adjustments to the base, and the clicking stopped for about 10 minutes. 5. Water compartment is tight and the tubes have to be in there just right to avoid leaking. On the upside, the fan blows nice and quietly and the buttons are easy to operate.

Not strong enough to cool a whole room but if you're sitting still you can direct it on you or to oscillate and then it works well. I use the little ice packs that are included but don't see that they make much difference.

Sounds like nails on a chalk board, doesn't blow really cold like other cheaper do, cool yes, blow is ok, area kinda smallish

I will be returning because its very cheaply made and doesn’t blow cold at all like it says it’s supposed to. I did everything per instructions but nothing worked! I’m a big review person and I don’t know how they did it but before I bought it there were a bunch of great reviews but now there’s only 3 bad ones!

Fan works okay, I fill the back with ice and water and it barely makes a difference. For the price you could just buy a regular fan

Was really hoping this would cool my upstairs bedroom in my off grid cabin. Well if anything it make it worse, using water and two frozen cubes it made the room humid and muggy.Do not waste your money, my little 8 inch fan in the window does way better than this failure of cooling.
