This glass paint will elevate your stained glass projects
This PEBEO Vitrea 160 Glass Paint is a real game-changer for stained glass projects! It's easy to use, dries quickly, and fires beautifully in a domestic oven. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to clean up. If I make a mistake, it washes right off before it dries. This gives me the freedom to experiment and create without worrying about permanent errors. The paint itself is incredibly durable, creating a glossy, vibrant finish that truly elevates my stained glass projects. However, I do need to be patient, as it requires a full 24 hours to dry before firing in the oven. Overall, this is a fantastic glass paint that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to add a touch of colour and shine to their stained glass projects. It's durable, easy to use, and produces beautiful results!

A 'must buy' for using pebeo paints, makes them a lot easier to work with.
Really useful product. It doesn't change the colour of the pebeo vitrea paints that you mix it with, but it thins it so they are more translucent and paler. Working with pebeo paints on curved surfaces (bottles, jars, candle holders) makes it very difficult to add a thick layer of colour without it sliding and pooling; causing inconsistent coverage.... I find working with much thinner coats of paint, layered up to the strength of colour that you want, seems to work better on those kinds of projects. Makes your paints go farther, but also it slows the drying time quite considerably so you have more time to work with them and avoid those dreaded clumps and streaks... Also great if you're using the paints in a palette and it starts to thicken up while you're using them, a few drops of this will bring them to a nice workable consistency.

Great paint, but imperfect reds
I love the Pebeo 160 paints, as they are the most durable and easy to use glass paints I have ever tried, but their limited palette is still a disappointment. For my reds, I own their 'Indian Red', 'Paprika' and 'Pepper Red', and yet none of these gives a truly decent colour. The 'Paprika' and 'Pepper Red' are, as you might expect, incredibly similar in tone - there's barely anything in it between them, although Paprika maybe winds up a touch more orange. I bought both of these as they looked considerably different on Pebeo's own palette of colours, with 'Pepper Red' looking far more like a poppy red, but the results were sadly quite jaundiced. And so Pebeo loses a star from me, as I really want a proper primary red: vibrant, livid and rich. But they still get a high rating as the paints are just that good - nice fluidity, easy to rinse off your brushes and with a surprisingly durable finish (after you've baked them on). Here's hoping they do a good red in the future!

Excellent glass paint
I love this glass paint. It is easy to use and can be washed off if I make mistakes, but when I am happy with the finish, I can cook them as per the instructions and the result is permanent. I have been able to raise quite a few hundred pounds in sales of painted glasses, mainly with Christmas themes for our church over the years. This is the first time I have used this silver paint and I was very pleased with the result. It has given me another option of colour and it is quite effective.

Works on glass
Used it to touch up a Macy style glass lamp. Did the trick admirably.

An unexpected application
I used this to paint the lens of an inexpensive clear halogen spotlight so that it could be used to create a burning embers effect in an electric fire. Coloured bulbs specifically sold for the purpose tend to be expensive. Buying inexpensive bulbs in larger quantities and painting them can represent a worthwhile saving over time.

Glass paint (Amber)
Great! I bought this glass paint in amber colour to soften the glow on some new very bright fairy lights. The paint dries fairly quickly and a nice warm glow has been achieved. I would buy again.
