Just what I needed to connect my multi media receiver to a power amplifier for some demanding speakers

I took a chance on this little unit. I needed a way to power an amplifier off an AVR without pre outs. At first glance when I got this thing I was all but sure ide be disappointed. Theres not much to it. I didn't think it would handle the wattage off the AVR or it would have too much noise in the signal. I was wrong. It handles the wattage just fine and not even the slightest hum. (Proper wiring always helps!) It does have pretty small wiring but it pretty much is to be expected at the price point. The gain control adjustment is a bit tight but you shouldn't be cranking that up anyway. Solid purchase. Not perfect but for the price I can't really complain.

Worked great. I used it in my surround sound that I was staying another and too.

Bought this unit to connect a CD player with only speaker outs to line level amplifier input.The Good: It works just fine: the frequency response is adequate for the purpose, and the included level adjustments are handy.The Bad: The wire gauge on the input leads is very, very fine: It is almost impossible to strip without breaking. Tinning the leads is nearly impossible. I ended-up replacing the input leads with a heavier gauge wire.

I purchased 2 of these and they both had plenty of hum that accompanied the amplification. I threw them away instead of returning them. My worst purchase.
