Works great.
I cut this into 14" strips to put on the edges of the metal on the back section of my counter stools to protect the new quartz island counter from possible chips. They went on the eighth inch steel snuggly and it appears that they will hold very well. I'm quite satisfied so far. As a bonus, as you can see on the photo, they're barely noticeable and look like part of the stool.

Perfect for my project!
Exactly what I needed for my project. The fender on my motorcycle got a chip it in and I was looking for a cheap but good looking fix. This was a perfect fix. It was thick enough that it covered the chip and also sturdy enough to hold tight while riding on the highway.

Good quality
Works good for edging fold metal that is sharp. Easy to cut with metal snips. Need to be careful on cut ends to remove small metal pieces.

Used to fix issue with my car's headliner.
I used this to repair the leading edge of my 13-year-old car's headliner. The fragile fabric had come detached from the foam board backing where I have emergency lights and cabling run behind the headliner. Looking into the vehicle from the outside through the front window, the ripped fabric and exposed foam looked bad. I manually spread the rubber trim apart then pushed it firmly over the edge of the headliner and loose fabric. Starting on the left side of the window and working my way right a few inches at a time, I squeezed the little clips embedded in the strip tightly closed. I used sheet metal cutters to trim the strip to the exact length. Pros: Easy installation, looks good and covered defect, no adhesive required so easy to adjust, inexpensive. Cons: A somewhat strong rubbery smell which hopefully will dissipate over time.

Front splitter lip guard
Fits what is intended thickness just fine. Reapplied after removing and still does well. Shapes back to normal, cuts well, rugged look adds style. Not sure if trapping moisture will rust it prematurely but time will tell

Really does fit a1/4” thick edge. Nice and Beefy.
I bought this to install around the edges of some 1/4” thick PVC pipe. The idea was to create a padded finished edge. Product worked well and fit snugly. I like that it’s substantial and thick enough to provide a ‘Cushion’ to the edge once installed. Nice stuff that will fit up to 1/4”.

Very handy, found lots of extra uses
Used this to protect Hydraulic hoses passing through 1/8” and 1/4” flat plate that was rough cut. Also used for wiring openings. I am extremely pleased with this material, easy to cut, the metal inserts have remained rust free. Maintained a good grip on metal through the sizing range. I also used it on some sharp edges to protect from cuts.
