White or clear
This glaze also needs 3 coats, 2 just looked thin. 3 coats should be good, applied with a brush

Might received an old one
I opened and used the clear glaze, but the product is defective. No matter how much I stirred, the lumps would not dissolve, and it left crystal-like residue on the surface, ruining my work. A normal product should not do this way. It seems like I received an old or improperly stored item. I would like to return it. Very disappointed.

Crazing
I like this glaze a lot-unfortunately I’ve had some issues with the glaze cracking after it comes out of the kiln. It looks perfect for a few hours then it crazes. This is a cup I made recently. A day later I noticed the entire outside of the cup had crazed glaze and the bottom. Although I don’t mind it personally, I can’t in good conscience sell a piece with micro cracks. Interestingly this only happens sometimes with my pottery? I’m not sure what to do about it expect maybe switch glazed and go with another company. I have used this glaze on different clay bodies (all cone 6) and it just hates my white clay 🥲. I also fire with a community kiln so I have very little control over the temperatures. I do want to note that it’s great for earrings though! I get pretty consistent results there-just not consistent with my pots unfortunately. Would anyone have any recommendations?

Perfect
I'm a new potter experimenting with wild clay from the creek bank and a microwave kiln. I make small items such as tealight holders, hanging ornaments, flower frogs etc. This glaze - two coats- comes out perfect when fired on :high: for 35 minutes in my 900W microwave. Looking forward to trying more Penguin glazes!

ok I revised my previous review...its now a 3 Star review!!!
please delete the last 1 Star review I originally gave this produc.t....the Universe Kiln Gods gave us a Christmas present....all the underglaze red dots that were on the goblet that I originally thought burned out...well for honest-to-goodness-sake they CAME BACK! The only think I can think if is that the kiln cooled down and the red appeared! Holy Moly its a miracle ;-)))
