Everday Essential Petroleum Jelly, 284G

Excellent product at an excellent price, works as well as the well known name brand at a fraction of the price, tub was larger than I expected so will last a long time, I would definitely buy this petroleum jelly again!

Everyday petroleum jelly, does exactly as expected and far cheaper than the popular branded name ones and works just as well.

I thought this was great value for money even though you can find it cheaper off-line, the convenience of Prime's next day delivery to your home makes it worth it, along with the extortionate cost of living era we are living in at the moment. Anything that is reasonably priced is much welcomed. I don't find it as soft, melting or easy to scoop out as the very well known brand of Petroleum Jelly but it's Ok. It does the job great and definitely leaves your skin very soft. Tip: spritz your skin with warm water and then rub this in on top and your skin will be silky smooth and hydrated for hours. Before I bought a few, I read the reviews. One of the reviews said that her husband said it smelt 'old'. I found that one of mine has a slightly fruity but musty, old smell, whereas another definitely had a slightly menthol smell. Someone else remarked on the menthol smell too. I think in some cases they obviously added scent to the petroleum. I remedied it by spraying my favourite fresh perfume to the jar and keeping the lid on for hours. When I came back that's all I could smell and it smelt lovely. I gave it 4 stars for the size, cost, value for money (on-line, compared to other sellers selling similar products) and the fact that it left my skin super soft and protected and that was the point of buying it. I knocked off 1 star because it was not as soft, melting. scoopable out of the container and had no oil sheen in it's application compared to the well known brand. It is a little dull in comparison eg if you use it on your lips, there is no slight shine. Also, I disliked that it had different smells, in the few that I bought and one of the smells was musty and smelt old (I don't think it was meant to be but it did!). I didn't like the inconsistency in the product content and I would have preferred consistently no smell. If it had a smell/scent it should have indicated so on the labelling. Having said all that, overall, I would definitely recommend. I am very pleased with my purchase. It keeps my lips and skin very hydrated. The price is reasonable, especially in today's economy. Well done to the Seller for keeping the price competitive on-line, as opposed to extortionate.

Really good petrolatum quality and astonishing value. Came brand new but I've used this before so I know it's good quality. Essential for the colder half of the year.

Huge tub, great value for money

Good old Vaseline, very versatile. I use to remove waterproof makeup. Melts everything away and does not irritate my eyes.

The Jelly is fine, it is like most commercially available products, no problems there. However, as many people have mentioned it before, they only sent one pot. I lodged a complaint with Amazon Customer Service to fix this. We'll see how they go about it.
