I have worked with mandolines and other food slicers before and this is by far the worst. I don't know if it's dull blades or just awkward.

This seemed to have good reviews and the price seemed fairly moderate. I got my item today and I’m not really impressed with it. It’s a light weight plastic and I can see where it won’t last a long time and part could easily break on the main unit. The blades are super sharp and trying to place them in the storage container, I accidentally cut my thumb. So again be careful when handling them. I did have a hard time removing the blade but it piped out quickly with a nudge of a butter knife. Clean up is time consuming and it’s really hard to dry, too many small space for water to cling to. I just sliced yellow squash and it did an ok job. I’m disappointed that I didn’t read more carefully as there is no blade for dicing things like onions or garlic. I’m hoping to use it for slicing potatoes for Easter so we’ll see how that goes.

This is an awesome addition to your kitchen for any foodie. This easy tool is an awesome alternative to those super expensive versions. Same basic functions for a lot less cash. Use the upper rack of your dishwasher for cleaning. There is a brush included to clean out the blades which is so handy. Tried this out and was immediately impressed at the functionality for the the price. This is a winner.

I am pleased with this Mandoline Slicer Safe Vegetable Chopper. It is not metal as I naively thought, it is plastic except for the blades. I can say it works. I like to treat myself with home made potatoe chips. I slice potatoes thinly and fry them in sunflower oil. After a few tests with the blades to get the correct thickness I sliced three small potatoes and boom I had a batch of potatoe chips. I will say it is not an easy appliance to use. A bit wonky. However it sure beats cutting my fingers off with my old mandoline. You can rinse it off, however it is a tad awkward to fiddle with at the sink. Overall I like it. UPDATE: It is cheap plastic junk. I was slicing french fries when the darn thing just fell apart. Tried to fix it but no such luck. I have to call customer service because the return date has passed. Seriously it broke right at the cut off date. Junk. Junk. Junk.

Reçu ma commande rapidement - Un vrai petit bijou - je ne m'attendais pas à cela - moi qui ai des problèmes d'arthrose l'utilisation est vraiment pratique - Très bien pensé ainsi que pour l'entretien - Aussi pas de risque de coupure si on suis le mode d'utilisation - Seul petit bémol, pour les carottes, pour ceux qui ont l'habitude de manger des carottes très fines, cet appareil râpe en julienne et donc, la grille râpe un peu plus épais - En ce qui me concerne cela ne me gêne pas - Vraiment chouette ce petit appareil - Je ne regrette pas mon achat
